Think this is probably more to do with wages than ability.

Burke probably wanted a wage that CW just wasn't prepared to pay for a squad player and fair play to him having that approach.

Too much money wasted over the last few years.

Chris Burke today signed for Ross County in the SPL.
Contract until end of season.

Good luck to him. He should do ok at that level, after all Aberdeen took Barry Robson and he was terrible.

Slightly concerned that Burke wasn't what we wanted but Brown was.

The Walsall 'highlights' were a horror reel of Reece Brown's worst bits, from miskicking, giving the ball away, not closing down his man etc.

Literally all their attacks came down our right.

I can see why he only got a deal until Jan. He's lucky he got a deal beyond the Walsall game.

Crikey give the bloke a chance, that's probably his first competitive game for some time,I was there and he did make a few errors
but so did the regular players,he also showed some good pointers. In any case Wilder has given him a short contract,so what is there to
lose. The short contract puts the lad under a lot of pressure ,hope he can settle in and do himself justice.

He also had some really nice touches, so see what you want I guess but I think he was worth the gamble.
