Burke and Brown confirmed on trial

This was asked on the other thread - think the answer was the defender, brother of Wes Brown (as in the 24 year old one).

He's holding a Dutch auction of all the small desperate clubs operating on buttons to see how much he can screw out of them cause non of the big boys are playing.

Just accompanying your post. I got the impression the original question was more of a 'We never sign trialists'. Thought I'd mention KMac was on trial initially and ended up being our best player.

I'll keep my mouth shut next time :)

You've probably fallen into the same trap as I often have, in other words they "sound" like they should be good. Or it could be what I like to call Akinbuyi Syndrome, a player who has gone for substantial transfer fees but was pretty gash for us ;)

Didn't he score an absolute belter for us against someone like Wolves though? Saying that so did Akinbuyi against the Pigs!

Although I stand by my opinion that Ade was overall pretty rubbish, he did indeed score against our noisy neighbours. So on that basis, deserving of a pint if ever he is in the area :)
 

Anyone know if a triallist can be 'temporarily' registered in order to actually play in a league game?
