Pound for point he must be up there. The fact that Kevin Blackwell managed to squeeze 100% more out of the same players speaks absolute volumes. He ultimately set us back years.
 
Probably the ex-manager I hate the most, surely this is one more for the Man Utd fans. Can't imagine he's many fans round here.
 
I don't know how responsible he was for this but he had a good eye for a player. His name attracted players we wouldn't have got otherwise. Shame he couldn't do the rest of the job.
 
Hopefully there are a lot of Man U fans in Sheffield because I can’t imagine it’ll be popular amongst Blades.

That's why I specified pound for point. The aforementioned were undoubtedly disastrously bad, but with resources that were a fraction of those available to Robson.

Subs Not Used: Armstrong, Quinn.
 
I attended a charity do in Doncaster with Robson as the speaker He did not mention SU but came across OK and afterwards he was very apoachable and readily agreed to photos with the audiance
Best bit was when he left, he did not get100yds in his Merc before a cop car appeared
but he had been on orange juice all night

Shouldn’t be welcome back at the lane but I guess it’s an easy bit of income for the club to host the event that’s probably been organised by a 3rd party for armchair Man U fans.

Plenty of Blades players and managers have come up short and I don’t hold it against them but this bloke clearly didn’t give a fuck about the club.

By all accounts the players liked him, probably because they all watched him as a kid and he let them go out on the piss whenever they wanted.
