Brooks international future

I’d rather he played for Wales. Their ethos is more akin to ours than the England team’s.

I understand the point, but Sheffield is still in England and I still support England not Wales. I hope he chooses to delay any choice on his international future, until he knows whether England will be an option. He definitely has the potential to play for England, and as good as Wales have been of late, they will never be a challenger to win a World Cup, England can still be.

On the subject of talksport, has anyone heard the weekly slot Simon Jordan (Palace) has with Danny Kelly (excellent broadcaster) - it's always a great listen and Simon Jordan knows his stuff.

Jordan is always interesting to listen too and I like Kelly too. Ally McCoist is quality in my view, a genuinely funny guy!

Brooksey will stay with Wales there’s a certain Phil Foden at Man City who as good as Brooksey is Foden will block his England path just like at City they didn’t release because he was no good they must have fancied Foden more but thank f””k they did!!!!

I think playing for Wales is the international equivalent for Sheffield United. A tight knit, talented group of players who will be severely underestimated......

Yes, I like listening to Simon Jordan. He's an intelligent bloke with real experiences that he's able to properly explain to listeners. More interesting than most ex players.

Wales have a much more stirring and passionate national anthem than our dirge....then again who doesn't. It even makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and I've only been there three times.
The lad has more opportunity of getting capped regularly for Wales than being picked depending on who you play for with England

So to update on this Durham said today he knows for a fact the f.a were holding an Inquest as to how Brooks has slipped through their fingers and they haven't given up hope of him returning
