Think they might be a bit scared of us old Bristol.

I’m cringing for them. When I’ve

I’m cringing for them.

When I’ve finished with it I’ll donate my sick bucket to them to do a bit of collecting in when the inevitable administration comes.

Nauseating reciprocal fur stroking from 2 teams that we have played off the park this season. Brizzle got fucking lucky at the Lane and they know it. So Mr Johnson and your disproportionately oversized tieknot, just remember that 1 team from Sheffield will not roll over and have it's belly tickled. Prepare yourselves!

And to think the official Owls Twitter feed was telling the official Brizzle Twitter feed to 'go fuck itself' earlier for making all these hard done Owls travel down in unsafe conditions. The tweet was hastily deleted of course and hours later there is nowt like a bit of Blades bashing to bring them together. Wankers.

I’m always a bit suspicious when instead of just praising the Pigs support, they then go on to say how much better it is than their rivals the dastardly blunts.

I mean why bring us into it, why not just say great support by your lot today?

If I were praising Derby’s support for example, it wouldn’t enter my head to then register on their forum and start saying how much better it was than Forest’s.

It does make you wonder. Not saying they’re ALL fake accounts are anything but let’s be honest, the Pigs do have form for that kind of thing.

Just posted about it in another thread. Hargreaves clearly needs the money he gets from hits and the more stupid the posts, the more the deluded will lap it up. As you allude to, that's never a real BC fan, just Neil needing to pay his gas bill.

A few Brizzle fans slag us off on the thread on their site which we all should be happy with. It's a competitive sport. Having an opposition club praising you just means you haven't effected them in any way.

Bristol fans aren't going to like us because we are competing with them. Wednesday are irrelevant to them so they can pat on them on the head and say "better luck next time".

My only question is why would you become a member in the first place?

And my answer is to infiltrate and gently remind them that they are no longer any significant football team in the nations sixth biggest city. I did it dead nice, like ... just whitewash 'factoid' and pretty neutral. I even offered that I didn't believe they'd get relegated or owt.. But obviously, they're hurting, it's a raw, touchy subject that their expected defeat of their little rivals across the city at the Stadium of Despair didn't quite go to plan and maybe some reflection and understanding how hubris works is in order. I didn't call them cunts or owt, I promise.

But blummen hell, I done gone and got blummen banded.

Right now, I hope they are ripping each other to shreds, like a pack of hungry jackals. It seems that since Pablo Geordio left/sacked/whatever, he's gone onto better things and pornstache hasn't quite brought home the goods for them. The miserable squealing bastards.

Ha ha ha.

Not growing up in Sheffield, I've never really had the same vitriol for the pigs. When the old fella first took me to the lane 1973 I didn't know they existed till 1979. So I would always want them to win if the result suited the Blades.

Is that why the Pigs don't need a reason to excuse the result? Ref, pitch, Carlos etc etc

But realistically, until Reading sack Stam, and Coleman somehow finds a few players in that squad who give a shiny shit it looks like they will get away with it by default...in other words they deserve to go down but so do at least 3 others.

There are much worse than Wednesday, including Hull.

I would be more than happy for them to stay up this season, take 6 points from them next season (assuming we are still in this division) and see them struggle all season in the bottom 6.

The club is in turmoil and could be seriously jeopardised next season.

I know a lot of Owls fans - their silence is wonderful - the euphoria of the previous two seasons replaced by such utter despair now is quite remarkable and satisfying to see.

Wendy wont go down (unfortunately) as there some terrible clubs in the bottom 3 ( I see Birmingham have just sacked Cotterill )
But what amazes me is that at the time when they were looking for a new manager Pulis was available , now I am just am ordinary football fan , but if I was in charge at the sty I would have just given him what he wants and just said get on with it !
Thank fooook they didn't !!

Haha. ‘Bristol City Matt’, ‘Norwich City Joe’, ‘Bolton Wanderers Dave’, I bet the soft sod has no end of fake accounts set up for the sole purpose of biggimg themselves up when times are bad. :D

The problem is owd Neil’s made a MASSIVE rick this time because WE HAVEN’T PLAYED BRISTOL CITY away yet this season, in fact we have played them away for over 3 years so for ‘Bristol City Matt’ to say that their away support put ours to shame yesterday is patently just another sad Piggy lie. :)

I thought the same until very recently but am not longer so sure. Yes they have a 7 point cushion and much better goal difference but keep performing like they have been and those below still have time to chip away at that over 11 games. They still have to play a few of them as well and prior results against the likes of Burton, Brum and Sunderland shouldn't give them too much confidence. I just don't think they have a scrap in them.

The table below hasn't moved that much recently but that could change as teams start to pick up some form.. Bolton have been decent since the new year and seen to have figured out how to win in this league. Barnsley and Hull both appear to have turned a bit of a corner and even Reading [according to their supporters and before they played us anyway] have been playing better, scoring goals but just conceding too many. If they stop faffing around with the ball at the back they should be fine.

And that brings me to the bottom 3. Burton have a good mentality and work hard for Clough, they also have the experience of just avoiding the drop last season which should give them a little confidence at least. For what it's worth I think they will go this time but I can see them beating a few teams before that happens. Brum and Sunderland are the 2 that have that stench of death about them [along with the Pigs as it happens] but as you say Brum may just get a new manager bounce. Sunderland have been marginally better recently, grinding out a few points and I still have a feeling that Coleman will take them on a mini run at some point.

If 7 points gets pegged back to 4 over the next 2 weeks then who knows. A lot of ifs buts and maybes but I didn't think they would go down in 2010 and they surpassed themselves on the final day of the season.

Their saving grace could be a few players returning from injury, either way it's going to be hilarious watching them squirm.

It's looking as though Wendy will manage to reach around 45 or 46 points based on their current form. Normally that would be 5 or 6 points short of safety, but I doubt very much that Birmingham will get anywhere near the 50 point "safety" level. However, that critical gap between 45 and 50 does leave some space for Wendy to slip into the abyss if Brum or Burton start to confound the odds. Interesting...............

Add to that, I was speaking to some Bristol City fans in the White Lion before the game at the Lane. They told us that at Hillsborough they sang 'Just like Bristol, this City is red', which I rather liked.

If that form was to be repeated over the next 10 games, then Burton and Brum would only close the gap on the pigs by 2 and 3 points respectively. Sunderland would be almost down.
The likes of Reading, ull and notlob would also only slightly close the gap.
Brum could pick up more points with the new manager in place, Notlob look much improved, so if the pigs do not improve on the points total from the last 10 games, then the last couple of games of this season could be a real nail biting time for them.

It will be exciting :D

Birmingham and Sunderland have the players to get out of difficulties but are being let down by errors which has shot their confidence as teams. I do think Coleman is slowly improving Sunderland and Brum might just get the dead cat bounce with a new man in charge, Burton have been there and done it before and the dingles keep on picking up the odd win. The pigs on the other hand look lost and are sinking like a gangster with concrete boots it could be a very interesting last few games this season. A couple of wins for any of the teams down there would have them close the gap on the pigs, do the shower at S6 have the mentality to fight and pick up points looking at yesterdays efforts it is doubtful. Jos looks way out of his depth knows fuck all about the English game even in Germany no team has wanted to know him for well over a year, the calls for Megson's return have already started.
Hahaha you couldn't make it up, I heard they were going to piss the league this season.

....and the cherry on the cake, it's their 150th anniversary year :D

They're sinking faster than that fookin cake would if thrown in the Don

They’re an absolute shambles, music enhances it

I watch a lot of non league football. I've seen some fundamental errors.

I've never seen so little skill and so many errors of judgement in so short a period of time.

How much are they paid?

Long may it continue.

PS. Whenever anyone on here feels a need to scapegoat one of our players. Watch this.
