Players that looked good for a short tenure so you forgot that they ever played for us.

I'll start;

Ugo Ehiogu
Henri Camara
Paul McGrath
Craig Short
Martin Smith
Alex Notman

What happened to Camara?

When we had Matt Phillips on loan we had another player on the left hand side who looked decent. Him & Phillips ran the show when we played Preston away and won 4-2.

Clarke?

Steve Lovell, Tommy Black, Bjorn Helge Riise and Sam Vokes put in some really good performances.

Barry Robson looked excellent on his debut for us and I thought we'd uncovered a real gem. He was technically head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch and looked like he should have been playing at a much higher level. He went off the boil soon after though and ended up being strongly disliked.

I always thought Mark Yeates was a decent player too but everybody seemed to hate him for some reason.

Who was that shithouse we got from Barnsley? Came with a big reputation, came on as a late sub in his first game, and made a few accurate passes, with callers on Praise & Grumble creaming their pants over him. Was basically shit thereafter.

Don Hutchison

Hutchison is the finest 'all round' player I've ever seen in a Blades shirt. He also had that nasty streak bubbling away just under the surface, that for me marked him out as a 'proper' Blades player. All our midfield problems would be solved if we could re-sign Don Hutchison, even at 45 years old!!!
