Brewster

Not even in the first team when Mousset has been acting up and we’re playing lower league opponents. Doesn’t bode well for the kid for the rest of the season as anything other than a bit part player.

Jury's still firmly out. Put a brilliant ball across the box that no one anticipated and brought a beauty down on his chest that led to him being fouled but he's got a touch of the U12s best player about him. Runs head down and shoots on every occasion. That said unlucky with the one that hit the post.

Thought he was better today, more focused, more direct. I think we should we should use him as a substitute for a while still though. Let him come in and hopefully contribute more and more without having the pressure of "leading the line" and trying to justify his price tag.

He looked class tonight. Far more like the player we hoped he was. Fantastic to have someone receiving the ball and running directly towards their goal (basic stuff but we’ve barely done it this season).
The one where he took the ball down on his chest from a goal kick, rounded his man and drove forward before being brought down was sensational

Brewster was alot better this evening and now looks a future prospect. Some good decent shots this evening another day will have gone in the back of the net

Came on this thread to post that too.

Some nice positive touches from him tonight. Shame that deflected effort didn’t go in as it would’ve given him a big lift.

I think he showed signs of the player I know he’s going to be

Young lad. Still plenty to learn. Best days ahead of him

If we are relegated I am expecting big things from him next season

Out of the big money signings, I expect Brewster, McBurnie and Burke to stay and Berge and Mousset to leave

That's what I love about him. You'll rarely catch him making a basic sideways/backwards pass. This boy wants to score and if a shot is on he's got the balls to have a pop

agree brewster mcburnie and burke will rip the championship apart next season imo if we play a 4-3-3 system

Watching him hook that ball down to keep it in and fire a delicious ball into the danger area, it got me excited to watch him and McB once they've settled into each other's style a little more. Think they'll score hatfuls next season!

Amazing isn’t it, our strikers look good when we play attacking football, have options available for the pass and we get in the opposition’s box.
That’s why I really couldn’t understand the criticism this kid got. He has proved (albeit a limited amount) that he scores goals, whether that be England, Liverpool U-23, or Swansea, so as far as I saw it, we were the problem and the defensive football we were playing. He will score goals for us

20 plus next season

I'm alright for McBurnie when we've got McGoldrick & Burke in the squad.

Not sure where he fits. If we can sell him (and I can't imagine we'd have many takers), I would. And bring in a more conventional target man for the bench. Use the extra funds to sort the midfield out.
