Hopefully it's a done deal but we want it to go out to 10-1 so we can all make some nice money on it!! (joking only....)
Until then who else is googling every 5 mins 'rhian brewster sheffield united' and trying to find the positive news articles?

The deal, at £20m plus a buy back not much higher, doesn’t strike me as a great one in terms of financials. You’d want a decent margin on any deal.

Hey, I could be the Prince with a tip off...
In your defence whilst we will piss and moan that you've added to the fleet of current Brewster threads, we do seem to accept certain members doing just that.
Cadette and Sunjihi to name two, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt your royal highness and congratulate you on your ever improving English 😉

Liverpool want £25m plus a buy pack clause.for Brewster.who has not played many games for Liverpool.
Why don,t they let him go on loan.who is going to pay that amount of money and a clause.
The buying club is taking all the risk.
Wilder quite rightly has withdrawn whatever offer he made to Liverpool.

Cant go making threads called Brewster in general blades chat. I've got 3 weeks of excitement built up in me. I don't want to blow it early.

Got to be a bit concerned, I hope that it is Liverpool sliding things up and not the lad stalling for money.

Sometimes you have to admit you cannot afford things in life, particularly when to do so risks other things.

Personally I would like to buy a £30k Range Rover, but to do so would jeopardise retiring early either by spending all my capital or taking on a loan which I would have to work longer to pay off. So I have bought a £2k range Rover, it does most of the things of the more expensive model, but is not as flash, its 18 years old, has done more miles & possibly less reliable , but I can still retire early.

If £25 million on an untried striker is too much, then its too much [think Jordan Ibe & Solanke to mention but 2 untried players], particularly as he RB no PL experience & no guarantees. With 14 of the PL clubs owned by Billionaires [read on this forum elsewhere, excluding the 3 new clubs] it is not an even playing field & possibly one in which all those not owned by Billionaires cannot realistically compete in, & every season are just fighting to stay in the PL. Which is a depressing thought, because if we ultimately go down we are just trying to get up to face the same issues again.

Rather we cut our cloth accordingly, recognise that keeping the club in good shape is more important [there have been few better times in my 59 years that the years 2016 -2020], & enjoy what we have.

What about Mario Goetze, a world cup winner, free agent, but this would allow us to pay big wages & only 28-29 & a proven player. I am sure he would fancy a punt at the PL, better that than zillions on an untried maybe/possibly.

Yeh but your post doesn't inspire confidence with the Range River analogy after seeing your car parked up.

Yes, no point in making this signing under these circumstances
If he's shyte we've blown our cash and if he's a worldbeater we can't make a decent profit

Liverpool seem to think they can have it all ways

If this is the case we need to move on, that's a proper bumming right there.

Liverpool want us to take the risk by splashing the cash. Why won’t Liverpool agree to a season long loan. They would win win if he was much improved and went back to them a class act after the loan

Maybe Liverpool aren't so sure about him and want rid

In Wilder we trust

Injury prone he would last two minutes . Scousers give nowt away , lent us a lemmon with Woodburn

They want us to pay £20 mil,and his wages improve him, coach him, make him a prem star and then get him back for peanuts!
Jog on.......

If Prem teams give him that much room well.....
They won't.
Can see him and Burke being a good pairing though.

With scores like 7-2 and 6-1 this boys gonna have time to ring his mum before he puts it in the back of the net 📱

We ought to sign that Gallagher from Swansea. He was involved in the first 4 goals, directly assisting 3 of them.
