Brewster

What was the XG on that chance? I mean now we've agreed it wasn't the only clear cut chance, let's investigate a bit more how "clear cut" it was so we can compare.
Do we also need to look at the "he's paid to score goals" comment too, given that's clearly also a lie, or can we just accept that's bollocks as well?

Another pathetic negative post from someone with a hidden agenda.... Brewster's performance yesterday was probably the best by a blades player in the history of the club, he should be given a new 5 year contract on double his money to stop Real Madrid coming in for him

There are two types of people in the world.
1. People who appreciate and understand sarcasm
2. Idiots

We have to wait until the end of the transfer window to get a better picture on it. Whoever had the final decision during the summer did well. Cooper, Burrows, Souttar. Top class.
Shackleton McCallum OK from the bench. Campbell Moore are a mixed bag.
Rak Sayki Gilchrist fairly good.

I think that the biggest worry about Wilder is that he is stubborn. That can be a negative in transfer dealings and in team selection and tactics. If he can improve on that then we should be there or there abouts. If he can't adjust then yes we could end up as mid table.
tbf when fit campbell is excellent. but perhaps that is your point his fitness is mixed?

Yeah his injuries have limited his contribution but when playing he has been really good. His poaching instincts are the best since Billy.

My prediction is that he'll be plying his trade in League Two in three years' time.

Wish him well for the future but it's time to go. Think a Championship club takes a punt at first but he won't impress. Trip to League One for a bit, then onwards to the bottom tier.

I hope I'm wrong and I feel bad for the lad, but I can't see a future where he makes it as a player at this level. I don't think a miraculous career turnaround is on the cards.

I would honestly be surprised if a Championship team took a punt on him given his injury record. He could be in League One next season. I don't know how much injuries have got to do with it, but he looks miles off even a Championship player.

A newly-promoted club or a skint lower-end club might snap him up on sensible 'here to prove myself' wages. But you could well be right. Time will tell.

I think he might get a deal in League One for a year but he's going to be shocked the lack of offers and the wages teams will offer. He's not playing Champ level again for me. He will be like that lad Ibe and drift down the leagues and he in non league in 2-3 years and out of the game probably by the time he is 30

No chance…..League 1 team, 6 month contract or pay as you play! No one is going to be giving him a long contract until he can prove himself.

He’s got a champions league medal. That’s probably marketable elsewhere, even if he didn’t do much to get it.

I said to my mate tonight that I can see him joining Preston (Hecky always praised him), followed by a stint at a London based club in L1 (Charlton?) and eventually just finish up doing 1 year deals at the likes of Leyton Orient, Wimbledon, Shrewsbury, Tranmere et al.

If there was a 3% chance left of him turning around his Blades career it just went zero.
Tonight was a huge opportunity to demonstrate some quality against inferior opposition but the best he could muster was a half decent shot on target from distance. Earlier tonight there was a second ball from a corner that came his way - he wasn't anticipating the ball, had nobody around him and still manage to sky it whilst falling over under no pressure. This was an unimportant moment in an unimportant game, but I couldn't help thinking that it typified his overall contribution as a Sheff Utd player.

He strikes me as someone who has zero desire for his job but can do enough to get by. Seems a nice enough guy and sincerely hope that a fresh start elsewhere gets his career back on track, but the sooner we can get him off the wage bill the better.

He comes across as a very nice bloke. But sadly can't play football, please utd try to get rid it's getting more embarrassing for both player and club, the longer this exercise carries on... Chris just admit its failed nobody will hold it against you, sometimes transfers don't work out... even the expensive ones😒

Absolute embarrassment to the club. Young Louie Marsh has played just a handful of games playing at pro level but if you asked anyone watching who didn’t know you would say he was the senior pro and Brewster was the the lad making his first senior Blades appearance. Can’t wait for him to fuck off to League Two.

After 4 years, I can't see what he's good at (in football terms). He's lost his pace (protecting hamstrings), isn't particularly skilful, isn't string, and hasn't got an eye for goal. If he's a striker then he's being played out of position, so ask yourself why?

Sadly he looks like he’s just lost it watching that performance. I don’t buy the agenda ridden no desire comments but had Brooks not been dogshit tonight Rhians performance would have attracted much criticism from even those who give him plenty of backing.

Those two performances tonight should make us think the issues Wilder has to deal with during a promotion challenge.

He's quite good at hitting the ball quite hard directly at the keeper.

It's a low bar, but I thought he was one of our better players tonight. Definitely one of our more dangerous players. I don't understand the experiment to make him into a midfielder though. He's definitely not good to be playing for a top end Championship team though. I think a move would do him good. May even spark his career. His confidence has looked shot for years. He snatches at shots and passes.

I wonder what the owners will think to Chris Wilders requests for money to sign players when they hear that he signed this loser for 23 million

Just get rid of the joker!! Fucking useless twat couldn't give a shit if he's a "nice kid" sick of the sight of him. Couldn't give two shits where he ends up after us or even if he gets a club.

isn't string?? Is this some Gen Z phrase I've not come across before?

Can we release him on a free in the window and get someone else in?

Is Adrian Littlejohn doing owt these days?
That would need someone to pickup his wages for the rest of the season, unlikely. He’s much better off sat in Sheffield on his current contract for another 6 months.
