One played well on the LW when I watched the youth team play. Was it against Brentford?? He tore them a new one!

Brentford's team is literally a new team put together as they disbanded their academy and have only just relaunched it again. So we can't read too much into a game where we were expected to batter them. One played well on the LW when I watched the youth team play. Was it against Brentford?? He tore them a new one!
I simply meant it looked like a natural position for him on the leftBrentford's team is literally a new team put together as they disbanded their academy and have only just relaunched it again. So we can't read too much into a game where we were expected to batter them.
He would definitely play better as wide man as part of a front three with Marsh in the middle as a foil.I simply meant it looked like a natural position for him on the left
By ‘management’ I didn’t mean Wilder, however if he’s narrowed his choice so much that we lost the player he wanted to someone else then he’s to blame as well. We all know he’ll not look outside of UK based players who like a beer with their mates so they fit in with this sense of unity that doesn’t even seem to exist. It's not Wilder's fault, he wanted another striker yesterday and didn't get one, which appeared to be out of his control.
My guess is either that he had a target lined up but it needed Anel or Souza to leave to finance the deal. Most likely it was one of the players who went elsewhere.
The whole takeover saga is to blame.
One is not backup for Moore. He's not even featured on the bench for our three league games. Marsh is the backup player from the academy.
I really don't get why people keep throwing One's name into the mix all the time. He was an unused sub against Barnsley.
Good shout this. With Anis now joining Norwich, I would like Brewdog to fill his role as backup LWer.
No pressure to score every game and on the occasions he's played out wide he's actually done OK.
In meantime thinking would like One to be given the opportunity to be the one who comes on for Moore when he's tiring.
Scored in preseason and seems to have improved based on U21 games so far this season.
Gives him the opportunity to gain valuable first team minutes and may just be his breakout season...
You'd have to drop O'Hare or Hamer to make this happen though.Good shout this.
Would Campbell be better to fill the central role as an option for Moore?
Campbell is the better finisher and - as you said - Brewster has done his best work either out wide or dropping slightly deeper. Brewster still has an eye for goal and always happy to try a shot from anywhere. If he is trying to be the 'fox in the box' (which he isn't ever going to be) then arguably he is wasted anyway.
In some games he can be used up front, but I don't see it as his best position.
It would be good for him to create some versatility in his game and I agree, maybe take pressure off him for scoring. You can tell that is really weighing heavy on him now.
Brewsters millions has all the attributes to do well at this level. Sadly he seems to be made of glass. I really hope he comes goid but I’ve hoping that for 4 years. With Anis now joining Norwich, I would like Brewdog to fill his role as backup LWer.

Highlights with Commentary from preseason and Wrexham game, sounds like they were pronouncing it as One-ey.Can anyone clarify how to pronounce "One"? Like the number? Or "On" (with a silent "e")? Or "on-ay" (french style)? Or ...
Reminds me of the conversation many, many years ago on here with a funny (inadvertent?) response: Q) how do you pronounce Matt Done's surname? A) It's obvious, like "scone"!!! opening up the age old debate about "scon" versus sc"oh"ne. Everyone is still none the wiser!
I'll get mi coat...
Oh-nayHighlights with Commentary from preseason and Wrexham game, sounds like they were pronouncing it as One-ey.
Fair enough, I probably misheard it at the time.Oh-nay
Serious question - what are Brewster's attributes, in your opinion?Brewsters millions has all the attributes to do well at this level. Sadly he seems to be made of glass. I really hope he comes goid but I’ve hoping that for 4 years.
Well there is no pressure for him to score in every game as he doesn’t score in any game. With Anis now joining Norwich, I would like Brewdog to fill his role as backup LWer.

I don’t think O’Hare should be regarded as undroppable. You'd have to drop O'Hare or Hamer to make this happen though.
That’s Oné. French grammar freak that I amNot a bad idea regarding Brewster, played out wide for Slav a few years ago and did okay at it.
Wouldn't mind Rak-Sakyi potentially covering LW sometimes as he is meant to be left footed, especially as Brooks is working hard to keep the RW spot.
I've mentioned it on another thread we earlier but I wonder if we could give Onè a few 10-15 minute cameos (potentially do the same with Marsh) to see if we can speed up his development a bit and get him used to first team football.
I know Marsh didn't have the best of games against Barnsley but I wonder if playing with senior players rather than other young players (like Peck and Hampson) might help him more, especially as they can help him get through the more difficult parts of games.
Edit: what I said about Marsh also applies to Peck.
And also does anyone think Osula was ready, really really?Being argumentative but I don't recall Wayne Rooney or Michael Owen having a League One loan...
Surely if he's big and strong enough (he looks a unit) then he's good to go...
Billy is still scoring! What's the most run of consecutive starts Brewster has had up front? Can't be many. Got nothing to lose now but try and see what happens. Have a suspicion the lad is nowhere near as bad as what most people make out. Even golden boy Billy sharp needed a run of consecutive starts before he found his form
Good on him. But he always needed a run of games for us every season until he found his formBilly is still scoring!
Thats one too many questions for one to answer. One is not sure about what one is asking one to do.
could one make one's mind up about where ones position is?
One is unclear. Could one go one on one? Is that an option?
When he started his career he was quick strong and could score goals. I don’t know what happened since then.Serious question - what are Brewster's attributes, in your opinion?
He hits the ball hard (but wide), and then I've dried up.
