We usually get in the ground early and Saturday about 14:20, walking through the Decathlon underpass and then up Bramall lane, a group of Brentford fans were singing and being rowdy. Lots of plod around and one (older) blade shouted back " and were are Blades". Copper pushed him away and then started getting really arsey with him. Nothing was said to the Brentford posse, who then carried on singing as they went further up Bramall Lane (we turned off down John St).
They we being quite provocative, wondering if anything "developed" further up Bramall Lane?

Probably the same ones who stopped in their tracks at the end of the road where The Nelson is, took one look at the crowd outside and detoured up to Eyre Street. No doubt just the usual mouthing off after beer at away games whilst escorted by the police. I believe we have some similar ourselves! They know they won't really encounter anyone looking for trouble at 2:20pm outside the ground as all those types are still in the pub. It's not like they'd have marched up Bramall Lane to The Cricketers mouthing off and being rowdy if there'd have been no police in sight.

I think it's called the "Fanny's Wobble". ;)

Is it me or is there a larger percentage of knuckle dragging morons from the London clubs fans?

Spotted this guy calling himself 'Bees top boy', pretty sure it's not in reference to his academic acheivements during boyhood, apparently they "stung you karnts off the pitch. A few of your top boys came unstuck & ended up getting dipped by @rosenblatt_jeff"

@BeesTopBoy

I hope you showed them what it takes to be a top boy.

Quite a funny twitter account actually and obviously a piss take......strange old lot the Brentford fans, very quiet before, during and after the game, they almost appeared intimidated by BDTBL...... possibly still a small club mentality even though they are a very good, established Championship side now.

I did have some "bantz" with a few driving back down the M1 though.....passed a few car-loads and a mini bus or two...honked one, flashed one and then purposely didn't indicate whilst passing another......I'm the M1 Top-Boy, (junction 33 to 20).

purposely didn't indicate whilst passing another

You proper tinker you!
I'll bet there's a full thread about that incident somewhere on line . . . .

"Fucking northern knuckle dragger cut me up with not the slightest indication just past J26"
"Bastards the lot of 'em. Big hoofing on the pitch and no decorum off it. Glad to get back darn sarth unscathed"
