Ah, but what happens when:

• They move into their new stadium.
• They continue to sign players and sell some at a huge profit using a variant of the Moneyball method.
• Being London based means it's attractive for foreign players whose other halves like to swan in the cafes and shop in the town.
• This player recruitment stimulates further success on the field.
• They manage to get promoted.
• They fill their ground every week due to being in the Premiership.
• They sustain their place in the Premiership and coin it in from the revenue they receive.
• They still use their recruitment methods to bring in talent - even though they have to sell on a few at exhorbitant mark ups.

Will they be big and important then?
