No matter what happens from now till the end of the season, we should all take a moment to take in what is happening at our beautiful club since it was put in the hands of Chris Wilder and Alan Knill,

They have turned what was a laughing stock at the hands of the predecessors to a winning machine, frightened of no one, I did not think after 10 games we would be 2nd in the championship, its quite simply amazing.
its wonderful time to sit back and reflect on the wonderful times we are now having and will have at this wonderful club.

Feel good factor is better than I can ever remember. Togetherness, unity, sense of purpose, team-spirit... I was going to suggest as a tribute to the club, players, coaching staff, etc., that we have a day on here when nobody disagrees with anyone else. But then a lot of you would disagree with that...;)

Nah, we've only beaten the teams at the bottom
Every team has an off day agaist us.
When we beat a team in the top half the ref helps us with a red card
That passion and fitness will wane in a couple of weeks time.
No body in the top 7 will be there at the end of the season

Bwahahahahahahahaha

Ha!

A piggy just told me, "ah but Ipswich have only played 9, if they win their game in hand, you'll be down to 3rd".
"Really" I said, "then that'll make us a mere 11 places above your shite instead of 12."
It was a real tumble-weed moment.

And do you know what's really incredible?

but awesome to think we have more to bring to the party, too early to think of promotion and all that, as it is only 10 games Old the season, but do think CW AK will be going for it and why not :)

It's turning out better than I thought it would already. Enjoy the ride and see where we end up :)

Living 100 miles away it was difficult to get to many games while I was still working - but I promised myself a ST and full attendance when I retired.

That occurred in 2013 - and by this time in that season we were 24th in League 1 with 5 points! I almost wished I was back at work - but 4 years on the world has changed and we have moved from being the 68th placed to the 22nd placed English club.

4 people who sat near me and had had their tickets for 20 years finally gave up at the end of Adkins year and the walk of shame. A pity for them, but appropriately they have been replaced by a new generation.

It's so very different to wake up excited on a match day rather than terrified!

The Magic is Back - with a Bang

It is early I agree, however we are close to being a quarter of the way through, a time when you get a feeling for the league table, before the season a lot of clubs were rightly being touted for promotion, and obviously still will be, but looking at the bottom half of the table, clubs like Sunderland, Birmingham, Brentford, Hull,Derby and Wendy are all there, inthe bottom half! How many of them fancies their chances from here on in? Best chance will be the inevitable change of manager and hope, think there will be some big casualties this year, possibly even massive.

We are in dreamland for sure. Let's enjoy it while it lasts and remember this when we lose!

We lost at home to Norwich recently and the team were clapped off the pitch. We're witnessing something very special at United. The chairman, management team, players and supporters are buying into The United Dream.

Totally agree ! I went last night with a big Wolves fan from work. Met up with some of his mates. Pre match team news they were very confident. Needless to say afterwards they were just so complementary and did say other Wolves fans leaving the ground remarked how tough we would be to play. Giving it the "never mind the defeat not many will get a result here" - they now know who the fuck we are.

Interestingly I was speaking to said mate on the Tuesday and mentioned the chairman, manager and captain are all Sheffield born and bred and die hard Blades at that. His response "that's exactly what you want, yeah, exactly" (repeated twice). This comes from a fan of a club that has an extremely wealthy owner who is splashing the cash.

I took the piss after the pig game and today, after 8 pints last night (excessive, yes) I had a limited hangover and was giving it even more to the pig fans today (and my Wolves mate !) To the point I now need to calm the fuck down as you never know what could happen ! But fuck it, live for the moment !

Football ,is a cruel mistress , we suffer more than we enjoy
but we must enjoy these good days , drink in the good times
its why we do it , no point missing it

I hope he keeps saying that,
If we get promoted, we are far from the finished article
If we finish respectably in the Premier League, we are far from the finished article
If we win the Premier League, we are far from the finished article

Being in the Premier League last time was great but it was diluted by Warnock and his constant drivel about us being happy to be here and just enjoying it
I know he was trying to take the pressure off the players, but FFS, he went so overboard with it that it backfired on him, he'd got our players feeling like the relatives nobody talks about turning up at their posh in-laws wedding
Let's, show the same "no fear" attitude forever from now on, and if by some miracle we get in the Premier League, let's show the same ruthless, fear of no one to everybody up there as well
