This is where football comes 2nd to a friend & fellow professional’s well-being. Even if players no longer fit a club or a team, good to see the camaraderie remain intact between blokes & they help each other when one of ‘em needs it.

In reply to the OP, bit surprising that given so many experts on here were saying how much of a bad egg Brayford was/is. Just like they were saying the same about Ched's return.

Folk have their own views on whether we should have signed JB, particularly for the fee and (alleged) wages involved. However any criticism of his attitude and character to me seem totally wide of the mark. He always has struck me as being a really decent and down to earth fella. Yes you could argue that Coutts is one of his pals but I can't think of plenty of people who wouldn't have stayed until 1am with him and to be fair there are no reports of anybody else staying.

They are mates but its still great that Brayford gets some positive publicity for a change. The way it turned out for Brayford was really frustrating and I wish him all the best at Burton.
