Sorry don't have the link but seen a report in a Walsall paper saying he doesn't mind missing Wembely. I hope we get rid of him in the summer, done absolutely nothing for United, bad attitude, wants to be centre of attention and what really pissed me off not one word of congratulations on our form, what a tosspot!

He is a petulant little shit isnt he? Shame as he has got pace and talent but he isnt going to make it with his attitude

According to his twitter account he's been in touch with some of the players texted congrats etc. He also retweeted an UTB tweet a few days ago

I stand corrected he did say something about our form being good, but you can tell he's bitter! I'm glad Nigel wants players who want to give everything for a chance at this club, even when things are not going great like Murphy and Flynn.

'Wembely" eh? That might just be a good word to describe the after effects of the copious amounts of ale I will drink if we can beat 'Ull

Ah right I stopped following him when he was trying to tell united fans there was nothing wrong with his attitude after getting sent off.

I think nigel will have him back pre season and see what his attitude is like. If he still doesn't think he fits into the squad he'll probably be binned off/transfer listed

There seems to be a lot of assumption and unsubstantiated rumours about Brandy's attitude. For me he fits right into Nige's system in a similar way to Murphy or Scougs. I say keep him as he does offer something for us - he was MOM again for Walsall on Tuesday.
Whatever Brandy says he will of course be absolutely gutted to not be a part of this at the moment.

However good he is theres no place for him if he continues to throw strops and get sent off

I notice our Walsall friend (Barry Blunt was it) hasn't been back since he was gloating about Brandy's hat trick and their playoff chances etc, we'll be above them very soon methinks.

No worse than what 'captain' Doyle has done...

But he has done it more than once, in a season. I think Clough got him out the way because he didn't fit but will probably reassess pre season. He deserves a chance like anyone.

I don't subscribe to all this BS about what he says in the papers either. He is going to tell the fans what they want to hear. Of course he isn't going to say he is gutted and wants to be back at SUFC. If he helps Walsall good luck to him, if he comes back and helps us at the end of the season good luck also.

On February 1st, we were 20 points behind Walsall.

We are now 1 point behind with 2 games in hand, I don't know but that might be why Barry B hasn't been on lately.

As for Brandy, you only have to look at what he did at Shrewsbury, pushed their player, fell on the floor and then picked a fight with him and got sent off. Cheating the referee, his team mates and supporters.

That is everything you need to know about him.

I don't think weve missed him at all. He does not have the work ethic that NC demands from all of his players. Plenty of rumours regarding his attitude but I hope he gets another chance at the start of next season.
If hes prepared to put the effort in then he would be a useful squad member.

But what if he has learnt his lesson, a bit like Doyle?

He was their MOM on Tuesday night.

It' a bit a shame of shame with Brandy because obviously the lad has got the talent and I'm sure he'll go on having great games now and again wherever he plays.
I'm not sure he's got what it takes to knuckle down under Nigel however...hope I'm proved wrong because if he could improve in the way others have under Nigel we'd have a reyt player for next season!

UTB!

Master stroke by Clough as he cancels Brandy's loan and recalls him to BDTBL, puts him straight into the starting 11 v Hull and Brandy rewards him with a stunning performance and the winning goal....YHIHF

Recall clause has ran out according to the news article, only had two weeks on it!

Walsall are plumetting, losing game after game. Sometimes a player can be brilliant personally but really bad for the team. I think we should read a lot into NC's judgement of the player. At the time we moved him on he seemed to be exactly the type of game changing player we needed. At the time Murphy and Flynn were short on confidence, but just look at them now. Managers earn their money and forge their reputations on decisions like those he made on these three players.

Flynn and Murphy are honest players who function on an even keel whether things are going well or badly. No tantrums, no histrionics, no needless yellow or red cards which work against the team. Nor do they cheat!! But look at their relationships with fellow players; they look really good sorts to me and very popular with their team mates.

I think Taylor had a touch of the "Mr Big Time" in him and that's why he's no longer here.

Maybe Taylor will get another chance, but not Brandy surely.

While I'm not one of ''popeyes'' biggest fans , after being sent off v Fulham , he's come back into the team and his attitude has been first rate along with some of his performances , got his head down and played for , our team , his interview after Charlton on the pitch said it all , where as Brandys contrite attitude after Shrewsbury got him , booed coming on as a sub v Swindon and playing for Walsall instead of at Wembley , don't bear the guy any malice but if he comes back pre season think his attitude will have to change though , as I 'm glad to say our manager does'nt suffer fools gladly and why should he , thats part of the reason we're in the shit were in now .

totally agree, i think we should take him back at the end of the season and im sure nige can get the best out of him, he is a good player in my view. its a squad game and he could be a great part of the squad.

Based on this one article? Not the impression I got from talking to him where he was quite clear where he wanted his future to be?

Up to Clough what he does with him but I'd like to see him back in the squad next season, just hope he kicks the playacting we don't want any of that.

Brandy is a fantastic player. When we signed him I was genuinely pleased as it was a player I thought was going to be great for us but I doubt we would have been in for him. At the time he was exactly what we needed. Turns out we had a right winger that was just cocooning. I now entirely trust Clough and if his attitude isn't what is required then he can leave and I won't really be bothered. He has the ability to do well here though, so maybe he can be given just one more chance. His pace would be extremely effective in our style and could be a game changer from the bench also.
