I have a soft spot for that place. God's waiting room.
Before the Crystal Palace Play-off final, me, my brother and my mate decided to make a weekend of it and go down to Brighton before the match. What we didn't realise was that there was some day-glo dance festival on and we couldn't get digs for love nor money. We ended up in Worthing and had an absolutely awesome weekend. Is Rutherfords nightclub still on the end of the pier? It was last time I spoke to someone from there about 8 (!) years ago.
