More tests tonight? Is Chris hoping a few more test positive to get them over the line or there are some miraculous recoveries so the game is on.

As usual EFL - useless.
Agreed in typical style they’ve created a system that’s open to abuse and decided to do nothing about it until there’s a genuine case of that system needs nag to be used.

Makes no odds really. He can get it called off just as much as he wants. If they need 4 injuries to pass the threshold, guess how many are falling down the stairs tonight.

Clubs are just laughing at the EFL.

They will have one more go at getting it postponed - it won't be.
Steve Gibson will say to Wilder "what is the chance of getting three points tomorrow" If Wilder says "it is extremely unlikely or near impossible"
Gibson will pull the game and say they can't play and pull out.
This will throw the ball back into the ELF court. If they follow the rules and award us a 3 nil will and punish Middlesborough. Gibson will appeal and threaten to take legal action. (Remember he is still threatening Derby for breaking FFP three years ago) THE EFL lawyers will advise the EFL that Gibson will seek details of every postponement and every conversation that has gone on between clubs and the EFL, looking for inconsistencies and parallels with the Middlesborough situation. The lawyers will advise that the EFL to backdown because they will lose. Whether it is in weeks on months the EFL will eventually cave in.

Others have come down with symptoms who don't count in the ones already out...

It'll be off.

You’re probably right Sean Thornton, last throw of the dice since the EFL scrapped match day testing. Although I do want to see a game of football, I’m worried that we are exposing our own players to a potential infection.

The EFL have made a rod for their own back by including injuries and allowing clubs to test their own players whilst overseeing their own results. If a player pulls out of an international, said country can send a physio or doctor to diagnose the player; why is this any different?! I believe there is a strong case now for positive players making a personal decision whether to play or not based on their own thoughts, feelings and health. If symptoms are severe or players are suffering from post viral issues they could pull out still citing illness at a Doctor's discretion. If not, they can still play.

The EFL have overseen such a huge car crash thus far that if any more games get called off the only equitable response would be to postpone the league for any team that doesn't have 2+ games to play. That period will then be used to catch up games and keep the revenues from weekend games equitable throughout the league. Teams should not be punished with ridiculous schedules and large revenue drops. The only other option would be to cancel the season.

“This will throw the ball back into the ELF court”

…and we all know what little green smoggy bastards they are.

Where you heard this pal?

Where you heard this pal?
Oh I do not claim to have heard this or know this. It is 100% speculation But I just don't think Gibson is the kind to take things lying down and we know that the EFL have made a rod for their own back are incompetent

I hope know soon, either way. I’ll be opening some booze shortly and want to know how pissed I can get.

Yeah Chris you've done everything right and haven't cut corners regarding covid. I probably imagined all your players celebrating with the fans then the other night after the last minute winner. Maybe all the fans at the front had negative PC tests pre kick off and were wearing masks while jumping around like bellends. Not that type of football club boro to try and get the game called off for unjust reasons...course not.

Middlesbrough have signed Tevez on loan. Maybe maschapony to join as well.
Or game will be postponed

I've never understood how he got a payout either but I can only guess that it wasn't a walkout but a mutual thing and perhaps the payout was only due till another club came in and they had to pay part or all of it for his release. Only guessing.
He wanted 4 million which was probably his contract till 2024.
Can't see he would get that mutual or not.
If he did he had the princes
Pants down
