So for example if Boro are lying now what would they do if their entire squad really do get it in two weeks’ time?

Don't think they would falsify it .they have an academy 1 .Can't beleave it has ripped through them all.40 plus contracted players I would suggest .

Went to a family Birthday party on the Saturday. By the Monday it was extremely obvious nearly everyone who was there now had COVID or had already had it.

Did you all do a test every single day either side, like the Boro players/staff do? Did you all get Covid on exactly the same day?

If we are being anecdotal, my cousins/aunties/uncles spent Christmas Day together. Some tested positive Boxing Day, one the day after, one only yesterday (all had been testing each day from the Boxing Day ‘outbreak’). You don’t necessarily test positive immediately having being in contact.

For travel abroad, holidaymakers do a PCR test at the airport pre flight. Result 1-3 hours.

EFL doctor should be doing these on so called positive players. End of stories.

I just checked this all of that is wrong. They had a there usual bench plus 1 youngster.

That 15 year old Zak Lovelace had to have permission off his school and parents to be on the bench, hardly ideal is it but Millwall just got on with it, as should every club. They had half injured players on the bench too apparently.

They've only removed the need for match day testing, they haven't said anything about 24 hours notice that I've seen. Considering our game is a 12.30 KO the fact it could theoretically be called off 13 hours before is bending the rules to the extreme.

Suggests to me they aren't quite over the threshold for a postponement so are testing again to see if they can get a couple more positives tonight.

Either they have enough or they don't? Surely testing more will just see Boro saying they have more positives. Clear they played the other night with a number positive but just had tested previous day/earlier that day. It just depends when you test of course.

The whole system is deeply flawed. They said they wanted to remove uncertainty but testing more on the evening before a lunchtime kick off is absurd and not much better than it was before with the Blackburn situation at Hull. Either way, say its on now or it's not. The messing about every week is not fair on fans/people who travel/work for the club and why they'll change it in a few weeks and make teams play no matter what and we will suffer.

Like lockdown football I'm rapidly losing interest in this current shambles. You can't plan anything as a fan.

There is an argument now maybe that they should have just shut all games down for 2 weeks and then just say from January everyone plays no matter what. Not sure that would have worked but current system is unsustainable but if EFL change it and make teams play then they will face legal challenges all over.

Teams know now they can postpone ganes with little scrutiny seemingly and as the season goes on the manipulation as promotion/relegation threatened sides will make this seem trivial. The notion that it will all be gone by April or lessened May hold true but unlikely and even if it does there is nothing to stop teams still asking for postponements to suit situations (injuries before a big promotion game). The EFL cannot say you must play as clubs will point to what is happening currently.

I've never understood how he got a payout either but I can only guess that it wasn't a walkout but a mutual thing and perhaps the payout was only due till another club came in and they had to pay part or all of it for his release. Only guessing.

Did tests from the Monday until Thursday (when became positive) same as my mum and we'd both had zero contact with the other people who were positive ( couldn't tell you their exact testing habits) I'm guessing players do PCR tests which are even more sensitive than the less reliable lft ( in terms of picking it up early)
