Very frustrating. I suspect that had it not been for the obsessive testing, this game would have gone ahead as it would have been the case at this time of year pre-Covid. IE, these hese healthy athletes who probably have no symptoms or just the slight snuffles would have played without hesitation. We have to learn to live with this virus now that it is endemic. Otherwise, we are stuck with this nonsense every winter.

No kidding. This thing should be over by now.

The hockey World Junior Championship in Canada was just cancelled. They tested every player every day and finally found 4 out of 250 players with asymptomatic Covid. So they cancelled the whole tournament.

The world has gone mad over a damn cold.

They can run, but they have to play us some time.
Wilder is a very canny manager,we know that more than most.
But he’ll have to face us sometime.
Up to us, to find a way when it happens.
No point in slagging off a manager who is trying to get an edge for his club. It’s what all good managers do.
Yes, they’ll be stronger when we play em, but so will we, with MGM back, hopefully.
The 3 points will be sweeter.

I'd genuinely put the under 23s or wilder signings against all these teams let the cheating cunts have the points, we don't want to go up, fuck it let's get spanked but make a point to cunts like Wilder

The only slight positive of any of this postponing is that it means brewster, MGW and davies should be back for the next game and means theres an increase chance that JOC could return and play some games if the season gets extended. I understand though that football is a lot about Form and runs and in Preston, Hull and Middlesbrough coming up after 3 wins on the spin, numerous clean sheets and a victory vs fulham, these 3 games could have really set up the second half of the season rather than going to Wolves, most likely losing and halting our momentum.
MGW and Davies will only be playing in next game if parent clubs give Utd permission to include them in cup game. I will be very surprised to see Wolves let MGW play against them next Sunday in the FA Cup game.

Usual Wilder bullshit How does he know they test more than any other club in the Championship and Premier League. How does he know what is happening in other clubs How does he know other clubs are not being 100% honest. I don’t blame him for the game being off He is doing what is right for his club But Chrissy cut the crap

If, like me, you bought a mobile ticket and you're now after a refund, here's the details:

Supporters who cannot attend the re-arranged date need to return their tickets to the Box Office 72 hours prior to the re-arranged kick-off time. Supporters who have chosen the mobile ticket and collect from the ticket office options need to contact the Box Office on 0114 2537200 (Option 1) to receive a refund.

The thing is, most of the fuckers won’t even know and will feel absolutely fine. Just stop the fucking testing and get on wi’ it!
Agree. I had an earlier strain of COVID and felt quite rough (flu like) for a couple of weeks but even then I thought lockdowns were a step too far. I know a few people who have had recent COVID, so presumably Omicron, and all says it’s like a very mild cold and barely noticeable - one of them is in his 80s too. The over-reaction to it is ludicrous but indicative of the bonkers world we live in at the moment.

He wont play anyway he is out injured.

"Pass the covid bud 'pon the left hand side I say pass the covid bud 'pon the left hand side, infect us all, ya know"

new team song for Covid match cancelled teams.

They need to delay the season for some teams now so teams with big backlogs can play a game or two. If not the integrity of the league is in the shitter.

Will be 2 league games in 6 weeks by time we play derby.

As much as were angry assuming Boro are telling the truth not much we can do.
We also have no need to bash our former manager.

Yeh cheers Chris

If we assume that most of these players haven’t contracted Covid running around, in the open air on a 7000 sq metere grass area with 21 other people why can’t we let the asymptomatic positives play subject to mask wearing and social distancing off the pitch.

I have a mate who caught your 'damn cold' in February 2020 from somebody who'd been skiing in Italy.

He is still struggling and has days when he can't get out of bed.

Agree with all of that bar the not slagging off the bollockless bottle job bellend

Not trying to be argumentative or owt, but I know two people currently in hospital with it, neither with underlying health conditions other than being overweight, but that's not that unusual, and both in their 40's and neither has had any of the jabs because of the conspiracy theories but that's another debate. So whist for most it's a cold or flu for others is a killer.

It’s coming down now to the integrity of the league. That’s four games now we have to play catch up.

I don’t think any reasonable person can now not suspect there’s a bit of picking and choosing matches over the festive period going on.

Problem is United are the fall guys in all this, the ones who as it stands will be penalised more than any other.
