Just had this pop up on my youtube suggestions, Can you spot the obvious edit at 0.39 mid team walking into the dressing room.
Can only imagine why it was cut... ;)

Awww bless
Some nice pictures to remember their day with us.

Parkinson was hours away from getting the job when it was given to Wilson instead. His assistant ,Steve Parkin ,lives on our estate ,his daughter is good friends with Sitwell jnr

Sitters , any idea what swung the decision to have Wilson instead of Parkinson . I know the past is the past but just curious .

I heard he was a close friend of McCabes due to properties they both have in La manga ,they met out there and McCabe went back on the offer to Parkinson against the Princes wishes. This is second hand so don't take it as gospel but the person who told me has no interest in football so I have no reason to disbelieve him. I had heard from someone else Parkinson was to be offered the job and lumped a hundred quid on it

We appointed Wilson in 2011 two years before the Prince came to us. Do you mean McCabe wanted Parkinson in 2015?

In that case, it's a pity it didn't go in! We could all have had a giggle and Le Fondre would have looked a reight arse.

Not sure if Im on the same wavelength here but are you sure its Wilson you are talking about as the prince wasnt here when he was appointed.

I was told Mark Robins was going to be appointed the manager, but McCabe stepped in and appointed his friend Wilson.
That was from someone very close to Robins.

I for one don't want Scunthorpe to go up. Their mediocre midfielder Bishop has a daft wife who keeps trying to undermine us on social media with silly remarks about 'bottlers'.

Gone quiet now, the silly bish. Hope they sink without trace.

If you were there in 1982 you'd have realised that it is always the women that do their fighting for them

Youre right I had that mixed up with Weir .The Wilson , La Manga thing was right ,Parkinson ended up going to Bradford and then McCabe wanted Parkinson after Wilson and there was the bust up at Bradford but the Prince wanted Weir and Parkinson stayed at Bradford.

Lighten up Pinchy. Maybe she's just got a sense of humour! Nothing wrong with a bit of banter. I'm sure she's well aware she would cop some flack on the back of it.

Does that just add to the enjoyment seeing someone have a bit of egg on their face?

I thought Parkinson believed he was going to be offered the job at the Lane after we sacked Clough and we appointed Madkins ? I thought that was when we possibly snubbed little Parky and he has probably carried a chip on those little shoulders of his since?

Are you referring to that big fat lass with the white top on who was clearly Scunnie 'top boy' that day at the Old Show Ground?

She was one annoying lesbian. She was probably responsible for most of the trouble in the ground that day (when about 3 quarters of the ground had Unitedites in it - in fact we had half of their kop that day if I remember right). Wonder what happened to her...she is probably now 36 stone in weight and bed bound or she will have died of a drugs o/d years ago. Nasty bitch she was.

That silly Cow who couldn't win The Apprentice? She's got no need to call anyone a bottler.

I believe she is now leading the Tory Party

I was told that she is still currently a bouncer on the doors of an upmarket Scunthorpe discotheque

For those that saw her in action that day,she is a bit of a United legend,I wonder if she is aware of this?

Who's Trace? Is she fit?

That's her weasel :)

I was on Scunnys kop end that day, this big lass with bleached blond hair (I think) came tearing into us
The United fans were bemused and sort of backed off because nobody wanted to hit her

This encouraged a charge from the Scunthorpe "men" and some United fans just thought "What the heck" and just battered everything that moved, including her.

Somebody did say that she had since died unfortunately, but I don't know how true that is

Noticed that the attendance at Bolton today was 13,599, a quick google and apparently the ground holds 28,723 with 473 fans from AFC Wimbledon, not the massive attendance you'd expect following the comments of Chairman Ken last week.

Great to see their hero Madine returning from such a terrible illness today...

Didn't the Pigs used to have a bird who was one of their main 'faces'on their kop back in the seventies? I remember hearing about her and her brother who were supposed to be the scourge of the Shoreham.... ;) think she was in the forces or something and she died years ago as well apparently in a car accident. With the early death theme seemingly relating to the top female hooligans back in the 70s and 80s perhaps they should have stayed at home and played with kittens, or done a jigsaw or cross stitch instead and probably still be alive today.
