Different stats sites define it differently but a progressive pass is generally one that moves the ball significantly closer to the opposition goal. Don’t quote me on this but I think one definition is 25% of the pitch and another might be 10 yards or more.

I'd say Thomas is more consistent/reliable.

It’s Percentile so he is 83.7 percentile in the league which is the top 17% of defenders for prog passes.

Would be fine in the centre of a Preston middle 3 where his job is just to nut crosses away.

No idea how to do these, but it would be good to see one with:

Charlie Hughes, Callum Doyle, Japhet Tanganga, Bobby Thomas & Anel.

Doyle is the opposite of Thomas, he's excellent on the ball. Just not sure if that's what Bindon needs alongside him.

Agreed, Bindon seems decent on the ball if Thomas is big fast and get head the ball I think they’ll work as a combo

It’s the other end that I’m concerned about. He missed the ball completely from a Derby cross in the first 2 mins. Also his positioning on Derby’s goal could be deemed questionable although maybe I’m being a tad harsh.
