Crazy news. How on earth will we cope with just two left-backs on the books and one that we could recall after the first month of his loan?

Harris is surpluse to requirements. The fact he has preferred K Walllace and McEveley to him says something. In the long term we need a new left back (and centre backs, centre mid, striker, winger, keeper - ok everywhere)

Harris did well in the cup runs and that half a season under Clough when on loan but last season was a mixed bag. He was dire in the 2 play off games and many more games I felt as much of a liability as the centre backs but seemed to get away without any critisicm. I felt this season he was equally poor. Quite rash, made mistakes and often silly fouls. Never really stopped his winger and going forward unsure he offered much really; odd goal and assist apart.

Another for me in the firmly 'get rid' of camp.

No, one for getting rid of players in positions we're desperately short in or would be should we get an injury.
The easiest position on the field to fill. If you're going to work with a leaner squad, the full back position is the last to worry about.

Very sensible by the management if true.

My cousin looks after Harris' kid at nursery; Rawmarsh way. Has he paid his milk fees for the next term? Sure sign if he is off or not.

Will find out the real story soon. Already texted her. Anticipation too much.

Next week; Collins wife's Avon agent with an even bigger scoop.

Like him, although (sadly) he didn't really turn out to be the psycho he promised to be.

But, if he's gonna be permanently injured, then let him be permanently injured elsewhere (if another club's damn fool enough to take him off our hands).

According to someone on BM. His contract has been terminated.

Can we please terminate the contract of all the other fuckers whilst we're at it?

Been confirmed by Fleetwoods Twitter.

EDIT:
And now by our OS.

24hr recall clause

Some have short memories ,he was a good player in a good defence under Clough ,he has been injured which as cost him but he is a good player given good players to work with ,much much better than McEveley or Wallace. Poor management will starve us of better players ,if the replacements are in the calibre of Woolford and sammon I genuinely worry.

I agree he's the better player than the other 2 (well, Wallace was promising but Adkins won't choose him because he's in love with McEveley)

But he's out of contract and we are just going to meander for the next 3 months, so it doesn't matter.

The board have clearly given up this season, nice to see.

They were all better players under Clough. But hey another year wasted.

I honestly never rated him so I'm not at all disappointed by this news.

Another bang average league 1 player, however one who has persistent injury troubles and has throughout his career. Fleetwood is about his level.

We need better than him if we are serious about promotion next season.

McEv, much as it pains me to say it, has been decent last few times I've seen him and there's a 24hr recall. Great player on his day but has a tendency to go missing at times. Question marks over his defending too.

Bit of a 'meh' one. I've just read on Twitter that he's one of the best left-backs in the league so I should probably be melting down and headbutting my keyboard.

Prefer him to JMac,offers far more going forward and more comfortable on the ball..used to put some great balls in from deep aswell good support to the wide man, although they both have a mistake in them to be fair....It was still a good bit of business bringing him in from Blackpool and sending McMahon the other way though.

Why on earth would it pain you to say that one of our players has been playing well?!

It's a good question, pal. Perhaps I should rephrase.

It doesn't pain me to say he's been playing well, but because I know what he's truly capable of when he's NOT playing for a contract (i.e how much of a fucking liability he can be), it worries me that he might pull the wool over Nigel's eyes and actually gain a new contract.

Does that make sense? I like him doing well for us in the short-term but the thought of him earning another year here makes me want to break something.

A decent player on his day. Which of late was rarely a Saturday or Tuesday sadly. Another one to add to the list of often-injured players we couldn't rely on too, which we seem to be quite rightly purging the squad of.

Or the board are acting on advice from Adkins and his back room staff , to deflect full criticism to the board . ( bear in mind we haven't one football brain between them , especially the piling fella IMO ) . A bit of smoke and mirrors going on with Adkins speaking with forked tongue in his enlightening political spin interviews and radio silence from any board member , with the exception in periodic phases from spin JP.
