He's ok as cover (maybe in left mid as well) but defensively he's not good enough. Shame really, as he had a good start to the season but errors keep creeping in more and more. Maybe playing as a wing back would suit him more?

This is the dilemma with Bob, he's likely to make some defensive errors but he's got the second highest number of assists and chips in with goals.

If I remember rightly, he's played on the left of midfield and it didn't work out, did it?

Not all down to Harris . The players in front of him give him no real outlet or cover . They make him look poor , half of the time . Our back 4 and midfield would make Maldini or Baresi look poor.

I wanted Flynn to play on the left to help Harris out with Byrne. The way Byrne's been playing all season, and especially against us I thought it was obvious that we needed to do something about him. He had a hand in all three opening goals.

First Alcock, then Harris, then Freeman all messed up their clearances. But we had given them too much space to play in before that. I think Clough's line up was probably a little too attacking tonight and we didn't pay enough attention to their main threat.
