BladesPod Season Preview - Best Case / Worst Case Scenarios

Hello S2, long time no post, hope you're all doing well.

Old Roygbiv and I are very excited about the start of the new season, but at the same time there's so much uncertainty around how the Blades might do this year. So, we had a pop at giving the best and worst case scenarios for United in 2021/22 - basically, what needs to happen for us to have an amazing, title-winning season... and what could happen that leads to a Bryan Robson-esque first season back in the Championship.

We also give our predictions, for what they're worth, for promotion, relegation, Player of the Season, top scorer, breakthrough player, surprise team, and a few more. Before once again reiterating our excitement for Saturday.

Great stuff as always and good to have you both back.

Think one of Ramsdale/Berge will go by the end of the month, realistically probably Berge, hope Rammers doesn't go too. Incomings/replacements obviously the key. Hoping our slow movement is down to waiting for 'the good loans'. With 2 or 3 decent first choice additions think we'll be borderline playoffs and autos. Excited for the new era with Slav and hope the new start and lower grade league inspire Mousset, McBurnie & Brewster. Get two of them firing and we'll be alright. Would be great to see one of the kids come through and cement a place in and around the first team to show the others there's a route through for them.

Just correcting something I said in this episode - Rotherham's record low points was actually 23 (2016/17), not 18 as I said. The article I read was written when they only had 18; they went on to pick up 5 more. I can't read properly, is what I'm saying.

Although this does make me feel better about the prediction in question...
