Another winner guys. Perfect start to the weekend . Thankyou

Really enjoying these guys. Good work. What about the option of Freeman at left wing back should JOC still be out, or do you feel a right footer just wouldn't work there?

Excellent pod as ever. Appreciate the break down from the Birmingham game and also really interesting comments regarding Leeds defensive frailties.

Slightly disagree

As for Leeds v Pigs, I don't think it'll be as straight forward as you reckon. I think we've seen Leeds wobble at home in big games. They certainly got torn apart by Norwich, we went there and did a job on them which they couldn't respond to.

And Wednesday, transformed under Bruce, the players who've hidden the last 2 years have come out from behind a rock. I think todays game for them could be huge in terms of their aspirations to reach the play offs. If results go for them before Kick Off they could be really up for it.

We saw how they handled us at their place, they were the better team and they nullified us (or did we nullify ourselves?). I'm not saying that they will beat Leeds, but they will definitely give them a game (as you said). And if they do that, get a goal they have a great chance to rattle Leeds

Agree, they weren’t the better team.
The stats were pretty even, although we had more possession and far more corners.
We probably edged the game but they (Hutchison) hasd the best chance to score, although Madine should have had a penalty.
Both managers in the post match interview agreed that a draw was probably a fair result.

On the night both teams cancelled each other out, making it an evenly matched game, neither team was better.

I think they created more and they certainly seemed to be more effective. We were really poor

Its not to say that they were robbed, the draw was about right, but i think they were more likely to score.

Your take on the pigs Leeds game is far more logical - as I said mine isn’t based on anything of the sort, just a gut feeling! Feel like I’ve seen this movie before and really expecting Leeds to smoke them (but drop points in future matches).

Regardless, gotta get 2 points ahead of them before they kick off...

Spot on with the analysis lads; during our nightmare in league 1 when every square pass was berated, I never thougt I'd be able to listen to blades talk about football at a high level.

Would only want the Rolls-Royce spoken about with the respect he deserves (despite Ollie giving us things Coutts couldn't), for a year and a half I've never enjoyed watching a player as much.

Fleck has been poor most of the season. He reached new depths against Birmingham. Drop him. Dowell can replace him. At worst he’ll be anonymous. Fleck is a liability at the moment.

Great pod, as always. Agree regarding Leeds fluidity, on their day they're pretty much unplayable. We can't match those levels. But, we're much better at getting the result when we aren't at our best. If Leeds manage to beat Wednesday and Villa, they'll almost certainly go up. But I think out ability to grind out results might just be key.

A good listen as always. I doubt if there's any player in the modern game who's made more deep completions than Georgie Best did ;-)

Managed to listen just before the game today. Agree with most of what was said.

You made a good point about having to beat Millwall, shame we didn’t bother.

Can’t wait for the next pod. We were so poor after going 1-0 up, it’s like we shut up shop. Tactically I think our management team got that one completely wrong. Hogan should have come on instead of coutts as it was obvious that we needed an out ball - the equaliser was always coming although I thought we had almost got out of jail.
