i didnt go to the match today due my objection that if you pay £180 for a season ticket you dont get cup games included but anyway i was just wondering if anyone could answer these for me.

1. what did the new players look like blackman, mchmahon and miller mostly

2. how did mcfadzean do as i read he came on.

3. what did the ground look like empty. or same or last season. however i suspect it may of been a reduced capacity so may be irrelevant

in terms of the result not that bothered about this mickey mouse cup and not being in it will probably be a blessing in disguise. i viewed this as the last of the pre-season games.

Blackman - His first few touches apart, he looked good. Plenty of movement, good control and worked hard. It was the worst header he'll ever score in his life though!

McMahon - Wasn't as impressive as he's been in pre-season but was steady and took a cracking penalty.

Miller - Had a few half chances, tried hard and tried to pressure the defense into mistakes.

Quiet but still attempted to make an impact, couple of decent runs, the odd chance and didn't look out of place.

You're moaning that for only £180 you don't get cup games? Bloody hell. What else do you want for your £180? The moon on a stick? I strongly suspect that most of us pay a lot more than the concession price of £180 for our tickets, and extra for cup matches too.

For only £180 the reason people like me get a concession is because the club recognizes that were not swimming in wealth. I what i want for a £180 is a season ticket that covers the whole season not most of it. If the club did include cup matches in the season ticket i suspect the club would sell more season tickets and you wouldn't of had to look at as many empty seats

As opposed to us eccentric millionaires who pay £300 to sit on the Kop, and still have to pay for cup matches. Also, you don't get to see a whole season anyway. You pay for a full home league programme of fixtures. That's all. No cup matches and no away matches either. If the club didn't make that clear to you then perhaps you should ask for a refund.

What im saying is that if you spend £180 or £300 or whatever on a season ticket you should be given a full home fixture list and the club shouldent then try to milk more money out of us by making us buy tickets for pointless cup games and the way i show my displeasure as this is by not turning up if more did this maybe the club would reconsider there stance

Then what's the point of cup matches and how would the club make money or cover the cost of operating the ground / staff to play these matches or pay the rent to KM?

Until a few--- ok many years ago, a season ticket did include all home cup games. Those were the days when, now and again we had a decent team.( Takes off rose tinted glasses and reaches for the happy pills.)

Forget what someone pays for the ticket, wouldnt it maje sense to do it for perhaps three cup games or the like? Can only imprive the crowd and more people in the lane can only be a good thing.

I remember season tickets in the past including cup games too, and I'm not old!

I don't know what the arrangement back then, but cup games work on a more equal share of the gate receipts(unlike league games), which obviously wouldn't work if 10000 people had season tickets, who may or may not even turn up for the cup game.

I'm sure that if you wrote a letter to the club, explaining your frustrations at the current system, they'd be only too pleased to include the remaining Capital One Cup fixtures!

could be worse. at man united, if u buy a season ticket u have to buy all the cup matches (carling, fa and champs league) as well AND pay for them.

for £180 the idea of u wanting 23 league games then cup games as well is laughable. your already spending less than £8 a game. ud spend more than that watching it int pub.

I don't think people would mind as much if we knew the money would go directly to the manager to contribute for new players. The fact that KM will take his share or the income will have to cover the rent to KM prob annoys a few.

I do think they should give season ticket holders a discount on cup tickets then maybe we would get more than 7000 turn up
