Telegraph Sport can also disclose that the first Premier League fixture back following the coronavirus crisis is likely to be Aston Villa v Sheffield United on June 17.

The game has been pencilled in for 6pm that day and will be broadcast by Sky Sports, which is also set to show Manchester City v Arsenal at 8pm.

Well they have a 50/50 chance of being right.

I think they are guessing as its being discussed tomorrow at the meeting.

I have a feeling, that when the broadcasters were carving up the games, Man City V Arsenal was not handed over as one of the BBCs 4 games. Happy to be proven wrong, be a bit of a coup for the BBC to get some top 6 action.
 



Is this one of the games Sky have agreed to show for free via Pick? Also considering a Now TV monthly pass, lots of games in a short time might prove decent value for money.

I believe Man City vs Arsenal had already been chosen as a live Sky match before Covid, so I'd guess that match will still only be available to Sky Sports subscribers only. If our match at Villa is also going to be on Sky, I would've thought there would be a decent chance it would be a Sky freeview match, I can't see there being 2 Sky Sports subscription matches on the same day, especially mid week.

I can see it now on all quiz shows. Which team scored the 1st ever premier league goal,and the first goal after lockdown in the the premier league ?

Not wanting to sound a Debbie Downer, but not sure removed is alright to say mate. Does he dive around like a twat? Yep. Do I like his hair? Nope. But he seems a really sound bloke, and one I would very much like to see in a red and white shirt. No need to be homophobic.

Sorry, wasn't meaning it to come across as homophobic.
Can't say owt these days without it being frowned upon.
Bring back the 80's!
