Damn. I never knew that game took place and I was traveling to Brunei all the time that year. What a missed opportunity.

We played New Zealand in the 90s too. We won if I remember right.

During a tour of Latin America in 1966 we played a Mexican World Cup XI twice - once in Mexico & once in Chile. Whilst in Chile we also played a Chilean World Cup XI. A year later in 1967 on another Latin American tour we played an Argentine B side in Buenos Aires.
