Blast from the past. Whatever happened to Unitedite forum? I drifted away from it when #twitterblades started taking off, then when Twitter started getting shit it wasn't there any more so I came on here.

While we're on about blasts from the past, I used to be a member of the Crossed Blades forum in the noughties before I joined S24SU.
If I remember rightly, it was run by a bloke known as Vamps.
Anyone know what happened to that forum as I can't find any details?

Met so many off the forums over past 25 years but I also moved away .

I was on Blades United years ago then migrated to Blades Mad, where I spent a stupid amount of time and met some good lads. I also played in a charity Blades Mad vs Pigs Mad match at Shirecliffe and got to know Bulmer better as a result and would get the starting line up texted in advance every matchday or night before. Other than last minute injuries it was always bob on. His ITK status was legit and the most reliable. It also turned out Matt the Owl was not quite the notorious wind up merchant in real life. I can remember chatting to York Blade and Scouse Blade about music and movies often, though that was under a former user name.

I really liked 606 being able to interact with different fans and wind the pigs up. Then I think I went crossed blades, blades mad and then here when that died.

I was on a Blades forum that was run by a couple but the wife died of cancer, can't remember the name but it pretty much folded after that as you might imagine.
Edit: If I remember correctly her tagline was, "I'm a little bit chubby and a little bit hairy".
