Apologies if there's a thread similar (Didn't see one) was just watching the highlights again and this suggested video popped up!

Just watch the first 20 seconds, you see some blade attempt to frisbee a chair at vale fans and two blades run from home end... quality stuff I had to share

It was "quality" when Leeds turned up and started lobbing chairs off the away end in 2002.

And last 10 seconds. United fan thrown out into their fans about to get assaulted by kid in white coat

I think it's great when people throw things. The best bit for me is how not next time we have an away match policed by the same force they'll have that cool netting stuff over half the seats in the away end so we'll end up with half the number of tickets. Brilliant!

What I find quite hilarious from bell ends of both sides, is the posturing and pointing to the areas outside the ground, knowing full well the old bill won't just let them go straight outside and have a bit of haymaker tennis, and the "come here" gesture....hilarious!

Also....in the case of Port Vale if the fans were just allowed to get on with it in the middle of the pitch those actually only interested in a scrap would probably number 300 tops but the Vale fans being outnumbered 2 to 1!! Silly wankers would look a bit daft then.

Just sit down, watch the game and sing a few piss take songs. Enjoy the banter and have a sing off instead.

That's brilliant.
The two fans running from there stand to ours is the best thing I've seen since yesterday!!
Me and my mate were pissing ourselves at that, they didn't look like wrong uns. Just normal lads who probably realised they'd made a faux pas by going in the home end and decided the only way to celebrate was to tear arse it to the away end.

My mate got me a ticket for Sunderland v West Ham yesterday and get this.....

There was a fan zone outside the stadium, where fans mixed without fighting! Some of them drank alcohol and yet didn't make wanker gestures at other humans who were also going to the match!! During the game the fans of the opposing sides didn't insult each other!!! At the end fans of both teams mingled as they left and there was no need for 100 coppers to keep them all apart!!!!

I didn't care who won and yet, somehow, I got a more satisfied feeling from the match than I did from seeing the Blades win 3-0 at Port Vale. Maybe the absence of hundreds of adults behaving like pupils at a school for children with severe behavioural problems had summat to do with it.

go and read the warning on our website. By throwing flares etc you are just cutting your own nose off to spite your face. Don't push it! It could have big repercussions for our club and the fans longer term.

Funny how all the knobheads come out of the woodwork again. It's reight big chucking chairs, throwing smoke bombs and pointing at other fans.

Anyone who thinks football has its house in order should watch this and realise nothing has actually changed. The powers that be have just got better at managing it and the media better at pretending it has gone away. Everyone put your fingers in your ears and go laaa laaaa laaa laaa.
