On 13 June, Sean Bean will lead a delegation of Blades fans to MPs, so the fans can let them know how unhappy they are with the way the club has been treated.

There's rumours of free coaches being provided... so keep your eyes peeled.

i reckon if this was to happen there would be alot of trouble lets be fair united and hammers fans hardly like each other do they, andi reckon they would ocme looking for it.

But we'd be lobbying Parliament and the Premier League, not West Ham.

If West Ham decided to come and cause trouble, that says more about them than it does about us.

That's all well and good, but it's not necessarily going to stop them!

I should imagine the Met police would be in attendance as an organised protest.

It might be worth taking this down there. :)

An update on The Stars campaign....

The Star said:
FOOTBALL'S Premier League chiefs delivered a massive snub to readers of this newspaper by refusing to personally accept a dossier outlining Sheffield United fans' grievances surrounding the Carlos Tevez Affair.
The Star's James Shield travelled to London yesterday to hand over a huge folder packed with messages from outraged supporters slamming the FAPL's decision not to deduct West Ham points despite being found guilty of a serious breach of transfer regulations.

We had previously made arrangements with the League to hand over your views.

But The Star man was left on the steps of FAPL HQ after workers spotted him on the pavement outside and chose not to answer the door.

Eventually the letters, text messages and internet postings had to be left at reception where a staff promised they would be passed on to the powers-that-be. The FAPL's contempt for our readers will outrage fans who believe United are the innocent victims of an episode which threatens to plunge English football into chaos this summer.

A panel of independent arbitrators are set to examine the issue again later this month after senior figures at Bramall Lane complained that West Ham had been inadequately punished for breaking the rules governing third party influence over players when they signed Tevez and his Argentina team mate Javier Mascherano.

Disgraceful from the Premier League.

Ignoring the fans views on the situation.

I think some of the views voiced in the star havnt just been from blades fans. So there not only snubbing us.

Im not depressed. :)

Although i cant say im happy about us being relegated.

Fears of any trouble have halted the mass demo down in London. Latest from the OS...

Sheffield United is intending to put on a show of solidarity for their fans in Sheffield next Wednesday INSTEAD of expecting them to travel to London by coach.

A delegation of 100 supporters and representatives will still accompany Sean Bean to Parliament where he will read out a statement and meet MPs.

But the initial plan to bus other fans down to show their support has been revised owing to a number of factors, not least safety considerations, which could harm the Club's cause as it seeks to press its case.

Now there is every hope that many more Blades fans will be able to gather in Sheffield for a short time to share their shared support than would have been the case if they had to take time off work and make the long return journey south.

Further details to follow.

Blades bottling it I see,

Think they realised by the offer of laying on coaches a lot would end up going.

And that by making them free, it could attract an undesirable element which was at best... foolish and at worst, dangerous.

A mass drunken riot would do nothing to further our cause.

Exactly, was looking forward to my day out :D

Good move by the club restricting it imo.

Wouldn't have minded going down myself, but this way, the club ensure it only has positive press rather than negative.

Also a good idea having it in Sheffield too, not only does it allow people who wanted to go to London to do something, but it doubles the exposure.
