I dont know if im just unlucky here but i bought the home and away shirts at christmas from the club shop website. Both arrived in record timing but i had to return the home shirt due to it been marked all down the front with lil holes apearing and hats off to the club shop staff they were very helpful and told me too send it back too them and they would exchange the shirt and send me out a new one which they did within 3 days. Now i havent worn the away shirt that much but i did put it on friday and washed it yesterday morning and now ive come to hang it away in the wardrobe the dam cross above the visit malta.com has started peeling off so i was just wondering if anyone else has had faults with the dam shirts ?

Not some much the replica kit that I've got a problem with..more with the training polos. Made from nylon, horrible material that rubs on the skin. Should have kept the cotton!

I like the Polo's, really nice wear.

I've also bought both Home and Away tops. Both are still in very good nick. The Away one still looks like new :) The home one however picks up stains very quickly and easily, usually around the belt area. But all the "stickers" have been good this time.

Cresswellblade, what setting do you wash your tops on? Ever since the 02/03 Desun one, the club shop have told me to wash it on a delicate wash and hang dry, do not tumble dry. Most of my United garments are still in very good condition due to this. Also avoid fabric conditioner on you tops also. (Just a tip ;) )

The shirts, and indeed all the Macron gear, are all awful quality but I've never had any problems at all when washing a football shirt. Whether its made by Nike, Adidas, Puma, Avec, Patrick, Macron, Le Coq etc. Not one of the many, many football shirts that I've had has ever been even spoiled, never mind ruined, by putting it in the washing machine.

I've never had a problem. I wash them (or get someone else to :D) according to the instructions.

They do them both nylon and cotton... The cotton one about £5 dearer if I remember.

I wash everything (apart from bedding) at 30 degrees and never had any problem.

My washer's got a sport wear setting too which is a long, soaky wash for sweaty sports kit.

Other than the ladies fit shirts being made for midgets (not 5'7" giants like me!), I've never had any complaints.

40 for me because no washing machine we've ever had has had a 30 degree setting on it. Still, I've never managed to ruin anything in a washing machine though. I really can't understand how people can ruin their clothes just by washing them.
