Apologies if mentioned elsewhere but did anyone catch the CNN report on The Blades on Monday night? Due to the lack of english channels here I spend too much time watching this rubbish. Usually the only "soccer" is Beckham, Real Madrid or Man Ure. To my surprise on Monday evening there was a large section (5 or 6 mins) reporting on SUFC's business model for buying overseas clubs. Stated that we could be the next Barcelona no less. Some high flying business analyist praised the "brave" venture and quoted us with a turnover last year of 48 million US (Barca 480 mill!), saying that this could rise dramatically in the next 3-5 years. Interviews with various directors and some of the trainees. In all it showed the club in an excellent light, with the exception of our academy director saying "we generate great incomes from renting out office space" WOW!
