Most Sheffielders know somebody who worked that day, and the Scousers weren't the innocent angels they were painted, but fuck me, asking for some money after 96 people have been killed in your ground, is utterly beyond the pale.

In my opinion its an absolute disgrace that stand is still standing 36 years after 96 people perished inside it .
Should have been flattened in 1989 .

Have you stopped to think that they might have been referencing the dodgy North Stand roof? I've never heard that chant previously in my 5 visits since the tragedy. The fact that it's been aired today says to me that it was more than likely aimed squarely at the dodgy North Stand. Plenty of references in the Wednesday thread over the summer about it being a death trap. Come on, let's have you down off that high horse before you fall.
