SHEFFIELD United have signed a major sponsorship deal with Edge Telecom.
Edge, part of the GCI Com group, has signed a five year deal – worth potentially a considerable six figure fee - to become United's official telecommunications partner.

It comes only weeks after another off-the-field success when the club negotiated a significant club agreement with the Mediterranean island of Malta.

Sheffield United Chief Executive Jason Rockett said: "The partnership with Edge Telecom is a further indication that we are strongly moving forward off the field with exciting business partners and organisations in new sectors."
