On the way back a couple of lads received a phone call on the mobile, apparently one of the Blades on the home end today was one of their mates. Anyway his mate and a few others got banged up so they said for being in the home end. Not sure what they would have been charged with just wondered if anyone knew? I've seen it before, I was stupid enough to be sat on the Liverpool home end for a game once and they just threw us out which in all fairness was a bit dicey as a few of the locals decided to follow us out of the ground, but luckily we got out of the way before being mobbed 10 to 1 :D

I was on the east stand and there was a bit of brawling behind me. Perhaps it was linked to that?

I just can't see the point of going in the home end at away games. Yes, you might want to see the match, but you have to be so covert, unable to sing, cheer, celebrate or sulk at the risk of being bubbled.

Waste of time, if you ask me.

I saw a bit of ooo-ahh in the home end but it didn't look like much from what I could see and it seemed to me that to old bill just marched them out of the ground but obviously not. If as said the have been charged with something then can only see them getting banning orders now which is a bit crackers really.

One of my greatest memories was ln the North Stand of the sty, goading every pig fan around me after decades of pent up frustration.

But these days I've got 2 young lads to consider, so we sat in silence as our players wimped along. And you're right, it was a waste of time and £53.

I got to visit the Proact - shite but half a tick for me. That's where any fun ended.

Mid 1st half, there were 5 of them that got thrown out, about a dozen rows behind me. They were young lads maybe 16 or 17 year olds. From what I could make out locals around them just got very agitated and vocal about getting the 'f***ing dee-dahs' thrown out. I didn't see any punches thrown but wasn't watching all the time. Left the game early and walking up old Sheffield Road about quart to 3, the pub across from the Derby Tup there were a few Blades outside, shout went up "Blades are here now", looked around and it was the 5 lads who had got thrown out. I'm guessing they'd been locked up for an hour and let go with a flea in their ear.

When I left the game a couple of minutes after their 3rd goal there were quite a few fans doing the same, reckon they were all Blades.

Yeah not far away, other side of aisle, further down. That Chessie lot weren't half getting worked up about f***ing dee-dahs!

Did you have a young lass with you?

No mate, not me, wouldn't risk taking my daughter into an home end. I did however have numerous mates in the away end either waving, or bellowing my name out at the top of their gobs then waving once I'd looked over! One of um phoned me, which would have been interesting if I'd have not forgotten to bring my mobile, ring tone's Annie Song.

I was on row B.
