Had a message asking you all along to the launch of a new book about United :)

A Blades fan’s trials and tribulations while following Sheffield United, from the mid 70s, through the 80s, 90s and 00s. Thirty five years trawling the country by train, coach and car in support of the famous Red and White Wizards. Whether they win, draw or lose Unitedites love to booze. Home or away, in the pubs around the Lane, or the bars in that there big smoke, there has been excellent days watching United. Blades’ Days Out attempts to capture some of those moments.

The book will initially be available at a couple of book launches - dates, times and venues are as follows:-

Saturday 13 March at the Royal Standard, St Mary’s Road, near t’ Lane

Saturday 3 April at the Old Crown, Handsworth

Both from 12 noon

Please come along - all welcome

Thanks for posting the book launch announcement Linz. Hope you don't mind if I keep giving it a bump when each book launch gets near.

Apologies for my first post on the site being a plug for my own book!

Bump - the first book launch is this Saturday (13 March QPR game) at the Royal Standard.

Got them back from the printers last week and they are looking excellent.

Good luck with the book!

Whilst on the subject of Blades-related literature, there's a reprint of 'The Jimmy Hagan Story' due out in April. It will be available from the Blades Superstore, which sold out its first edition some time ago. I will also put a few signed copies on eBay.
