Blades at Ipswich

Just heard a story coming back from Blades who went down to Ipswich.

40 Blades left the game at half time to go and support Palace in a local Ipswich pub as they though Palace needed help !!

I know they have a rivalry with the Norwich lot, but I bet he couldn't believe his eyes as to our hatred of the porcine lot from S6

I never spotted anyone leaving, (certainly not 40!) wht would they we were playing so well.

£31 for a match ticket now seems cheap. No better place to be yesterday when when Palace scored their two goals and the final whistle at the sty sounded. 700 or so Blades going potty whilst the rest of the ground was clueless of our reasons for jumping around, certainly for the first Lee goal. Absolutely priceless.

And the Crystal Palace fan, with shirt and scarf, who was sat with us just made it better.

Only being at Leicester when we went up and Wendy went down can possibly rival our weekend in Ipswich.

It was crazy seeing the majority of United fans waiting 5-10 minutes after the match seeing the Pig result coming in, then sheer elation when it did! Quality!

Oh mate, it was fookin priceless. It really was a great day all round. Just imagine if we'd needed the win to get promotion or get into play-offs!!
