He's done alot of things right so far this season but if he thinks we can challenge for promotion when France is a chest infection away from the first team, meaning a 19 year old kid is playing at centre back - then all his hard work is undone for me.

I know Killa didn't cover himself in glory against Wendy last term but the consequences of France playing on Friday are unthinkable. I'd prefer to see Matthew Spring play.

The reaction is not about booing Blackwell or murdering players - Its about the posters actually being concerned at the lack of cover which has been apparant during tonights match. We do no want Blackwell to be spouting how the gteam has only performed to 75% of its capability _ I would like to know why we have to switch our on loan full back to centre half every time one of the CB's is unavailable.
I would like to know how Blackwell proposes to resolve the situation as regards cover - because tonight may be a wake up call but could become a regular occurance if Blackwell doesn't sort it soon!

Sorry it was meant to be longest we've gone without defeat for 12 years. yes we had more points than WBA & Newcastle at this point in that season but we lost at QPR before winning like 10 on the bounce. (and i take it you meant 05/06?? Haha

And as for wind-up merchants, it just pisses me off when people come on here and talk drivel and just slag us off for the 5% negatives when theirs clearly 95% positives

I have tickets for the next three home games and will enjoy them all, win or lose. If it happens to be losing it will be hard but I am sure we will be competitive thanks to the manager and Board. The rest is up to the players on the field. Though we love to blame or praise management depending on how we see things, the reality is that they do not have the influence we give them credit for; but it does leave acres of room for specuation and arguement, where everyone is right at some point in time.
