I was joking with a Wednesday lad in my local last week and asked if he was looking forward to the fixtures coming out and if he was hoping the games against Fleetwood, Blackpool and Morecombe all came within a fortnight and all away he could arrange his summer holidays around it, he'd not thought about it before but nodded and thought mmmm

Last time we played Blackpool I had one of the best Indian meals ever. If I could remember the name it might have been worth a return visit.

Last time I was there they were singing "here for the gay bars, you're only here for the gay bars" to which the response was "does your boyfriend know you're here?" Sadly, although it was all good banter all round you probably wouldn't get away with it now.

One of the only play offs involving us in some way shape or form where I didn't care who won. Both pretty likeable, play decent football and grounds I haven't been to before. And both very good days out to boot.

Thank fuck it wasn't Sunderland or Oxford.

But Blackpool looked a decent side, a few very decent players.
