So clearly he must be world class.

Thinking about it, smaller clubs would welcome a decent transfer fee for a keeper they don’t really need but City are in a position where they can say ‘pay us daft money or don’t sign him’. They know they can send him out on loan again if not. It won’t really affect their spending plans.
