The lower tier only held 2,990 in the PL.

When we play Bolton and Bradford demand is likely to be more than 3K.
Next season loads of clubs would be able to bring 4K if offered tickets, especially if we keep prices reasonable.

Price tickets well, show a little ambition and next season could see us averaging 25,000 if we go up.

That's almost 3,000 tickets for away fans. Most teams will bring less than that. Why should we give away fans the upper tier with its great views, when home fans could have it? We sell out for virtually every away game, and our fans just have to deal with it.

Put away fans at the bottom and Blades fans on the top - the way it has been for most of the BL stand's 50-odd year existence

i would actually like to see the 3 sides of the lane full to capacity with our fans and let away fans have the whole of bramall lane end i know that would upset people that go in the westfield corner but would surely create more atmosphere in ground instead of our fans stretched out all over ground

Not really surprising since the trial of fans in both tiers hasn't happened yet, but making disabled fans climb 42 steps seems crazy when there's a lower tier that can take them all. In the interests of disability equality, away fans should be in the lower tier, and if that coincidentally makes the vastly superior upper tier available to Blades fans then so be it.

The problem with that is that would mean the away teams would have over 7,500 tickets.
And home fans having 25,000 tickets with some restricted views
And concourse areas packed to the rafters with long toilet and catering queues.

We've already had more than 25,000 home fans for the Oldham game.

BL upper is far superior to the kop and BL lower has a unrestricted view aswell.
We must increase the rake of the kop to make it a desirable place to watch football.

Apart from the good view, the BL Upper throws sound forwards better than anywhere else in the ground. We can hear them changing their mind from where I sit at half way.

So putting 1000 singing Blades back central in the BL Upper level would help to address the atmosphere issue as well.
