That's right, one that would expunge any doubts about the new owners.

Needless to say he rowed back in that one almost immediately.
Maybe that signing is already here?

If Selles can get Cannon playing the same as he did the first half season for Stoke then that 7-10m whatever it was will look a bargain. He hasn’t been goalshy this ore-season which is a good sign.

If he can get Cannon playing, fantastic, but Ramble was definitely talking like a new statement signing was coming in.

He backed down pretty quickly when he realised he was talking horseshit, obviously.

He was pretty cack for Stoke, bar one game against Portsmouth where they gave up and let him do what they want. Scored in 6 of 22 games, and he was on penalties.

Coming from a decent source.

Hamer (wants to leave) - willing to accept around 20m for him with minimum 15m upfront

Souza (willing to stay) - but will accept 15-20mill for him

Peck (deal done with london based club) - 15m with a future fee of 30% and a bonus if they win a trophy in the next 2 seasons

Robinson - 1 year option triggered (by the player)

Burrows - (2 PL clubs enquired) club say not for sale

Cooper - (Leeds and another unnamed club enquired) club say not for sale

Choudhury, JRS, BBD, Gilchrist, Clarke, Holding all go back - club want to sign BBD permanently and Choudhury, but wages are unattainable for both

Brewster - rejected first 2 contracts put to him been negotiating for months, club want him to sign for another season

Campbell in talks to extend his contract

Players and staff were in this morning for 2 hours rosen also there and every player had a 5min 1to1 with him

Wilder committed to next season board backing him.

All players under contract due back in for pre season on June 30th
Any more intel from your source?

Consistency is what separates the £1m CF's from the £10m CF's. Can't do anything with a player than only brings the beef once every 22 games.
If your stats were correct he would have played 440 games which is some going for a 22 year old.

Imagine if Canon comes good and McBurnie goes to Hull. With Brewster at Derby and Moore heading to Wrexham we're going to be seriously short of a reliable scapegoat this season. We desperately need the new owners to show ambition and throw £20m at a player who doesn't hit the mark so we can criticise them relentlessly here.

The Academy lads will be fair game.

Whilst I understand to a degree the negative comments about Cannon, this time last year people were willing to drive Vini and Anel to any club they chose.
They looked better because we were relegated. If we were in League One, maybe Cannon would be an option.

Happy for him, but we didn't pay £10m for him to score against Rotherham. He did shit all last season for us. Zero threat. We were basically playing with 10 men every time he was on the pitch, and we all saw it.
You've been knocking off his Stoke goals from his tally and now his goal and assist for us didn't happen 😆

True but alot of the criticism was about their attitude and endeavour. Cannon looked very out of sorts last season in a side that produced very few chances . Let's hope he has more confidence and chances and see how he goes .

I hope he works much harder to improve his influence off the ball. It's one thing to offer no goal threat, it's another to offer nothing at all.
