Nice words, but………ruins my life not just the 90 minutes. Need time out next season,
I think I’ve moved through that phase into Acceptance. What will be will be, no amount of my grumbling (or shouting ā€œadviceā€ from the stands) will change the outcome of the season. I know next season I’ll be happy at football and I will be disappointed and frustrated. But I also know I won’t have VAR!

I shall meet up with Jnr, we will have some drinks, a laugh, 90 minutes of football, and after (home games) part ways or (away games) go out in whatever part of the world we are in.

Can’t wait for next season. Wonder if I’d have felt the same if we had won at Wembley? (Would like to have found out!)

Like Charlton as a club and set of fans. Know a few Charlton fans and they are sound.

Brum and Hollywood can get to fuck though. Hope we annihilate them both home and away.

Never had a problem with Wrexham, good solid working-class fan base, the 1934 on the back the shirt for the Gresford mining disaster is pure class.

Its, as you say the Hollywood fans, utter self-entitled pile of fucking wank, hope the club goes bust and a consortium of proper fans buy it back.

As others have said, chuffed Charlton are back up. Favourite London away day, always been a great bunch in surrounding boozers before and after.

Just got in from a day out in Brum and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. Not lived in Sheffield since 1987 so can’t really compare but for a night/day out you’ll be hard pressed to beat Birmingham. Brum has no more or less immigrants than any other city in Europe. It’s the way of the world. Get used to it.

Good for you. Can't argue against anything you said there. That said, I've no idea what that has to do with the price of fish.

Birmingham city centre might be great. Hope it is. Good for you if it is.

Onto another subject. I hope United will absolutely piss all over Brum next season.... (even if ya kebab was reight top notch t'neight).

The thread is about away days my friend. Loads of stuff about great days in London and negative stuff about Small Heath . (Birmingham) if you can’t contextualise this then that’s your issue. However I too hope we piss all over the Blues.

Birmingham are my tip for a double promotion, especially if Leicester get a sizeable deduction then I can see Brum finishing 2nd behind Ipswich

Wrexham mid table this coming season, play offs season after next.

Charlton fighting relegation

Presuming they continue investing as they are, Birmingham will be up there challenging for automatic promotion.

Wrexham will be top half, maybe even challenging for the play-offs.

Charlton will be in the bottom 4 or 5

Wrexham supposedly interested in signing Ben Davies from spurs (although they have just announced he has exercised a further year) and danny ings. Birmingham after Sontje Hanson from Nec Njjmegen

A good few of our posts on this thread remind me of the ones we read about us on our first season back to the 2nd tier. Especially posts from just up the road at s6.
Keep the powder dry until the end of September.
