I'm torn either way with Billy. I'd like to keep a player who can score 15-20 goals a season who is a Blade, but there are serious doubts about if he can do it for us.

Bob is just been pragmatic. There are huge uestion marks as to whether Sharp can score goals with KB as manager.

Personally I'd like to see him stay. He was on fire this season and will be brimming ith confidence. Maybe him and Cresswell would do well up top together Or even Evans and Sharp if we play the right stuff.

I fully expect Sharp to move on though. It is clear KB doesn't like him and KB is still in charge. Good luck Billy.

There's no doubts about that, but it isn't just Blackwell he's struggled under

He did all the donkey work for Beattie under Robson and Blackwell.

We struggled to score goals from open play under both of those managers, when Beattie played for us.

He's a prolific goal scorer but not with the tactics employed by those two (or Warnock).

Agreed. If the team solely consists of hoofers how else are we going to play. To play decent football we need decent footballers who play on the floor but sadly I don't think we'll ever see this at the Lane for some reason. I remember briefly seeing is under Kendal and Spackman but nowt since then.

Terry Robinson didn't have any doubts about him either which was unfortunate because we didn't get much for our £1.5m.

Donny will have bid around 500k because that's their mentality and what John Ryan thinks he can get away with.

If we get offered £1.5m I'd sell him because there's doubts whether he can do it for us, and there's plenty of strikers out there who would score goals for us, many available for free.
