I understand we’re all pissed off, but this relentless search to pin it on certain players and start countless new threads to pinpoint somebody is a bit tedious imo
yes, Billiy was lucky to stay on today, maybe he’s as frustrated as we are and how things are going, and yes, it is disappointing that on the reverse, the coaching staff seem to be pinning their hopes on him.
and equally disappointing that we didn’t get more options from the January window
But Billy does not pick himself, or get himself put on as a substitute, that’s down to somebody else.
nobody can question his heart for this club or the respect he gets

If we need to change the game I would much rather have Jebbo on the bench then Sharp. He has pace and height to worry tired defenders and can stretch teams so was concerning to hear Hecky say there isn't even a place for him on the bench.

I do wonder how much influence Sharp and other senior players are having in the dressing room. Sharp seems to play or be first sub even when the situation doesn't suit it, such as today, Doyle and McAtee should have been on before Sharp. Same with Fleck playing ahead of both of them even after their outstanding performances against Spurs and the subsequent drop off in the team's performance.
 



Nothing wrong with having Billy on the bench to bring on with 15 to play if necessary, but he shouldn't be the first thing we turn to when it's going badly. Where the fuck was Jebbo today ? Osula?

Billy was the issue today. That was caused by the starting 11 not having a pair of bollox between them, and a management team that is now showing us all that they are fucking inept.
 
What he did looked pretty similar to what Jebbo got sent off for at Wrexham, so there was no chance Billy would be sent off because refs aren't allowed to show any kind of consistency.
 



If anyone reviews that he will struggle to get away with it.

Despite all the build up, I thought the ref was reasonably fair.

If that gets Jebbo on the bench it may end up being a blessing.

Can anyone now find something that might get Fleck a ban? 😉😂
