Again, this sounds crazy but if he played for one of the top 6 PL clubs with the service he'd get and the finishing skills he has, how many would he score?
I could see one of the lower PL clubs like Huddersfield or Burnley getting desperate at the end of January, or Villa Swansea or Stoke desperately throw something for a shot at promotion themselves.
I hope he would turn them down and refuse to leave. Anyway I'll leave it there alleluia!
Some of our fans are so fickle it’s incredible, suppose it’s the over excitement of extreme dissapointed straight after a match.
These days every view point has to be extreme.
As soon as Sharp scores a few he’s brilliant, the best ever and worth over £10 million.
Then when he doesn’t score for a few games he’s finished and we should get rid.
Sharp in his prime struggled in tbe PL, so very much doubt any PL would take the gamble on a player in the twilight of their career.
Must admit though him and McGoldrick have looked top class in the last 2 games, great attitude and workrate too.
Let’s just appreciate Sharp for what he brings and not build him up up rediculous levels.
IMO in the PL Sharp would struggle to find any space so he’d have little impact on a game.
If we do get promoted this season to the PL then I predict Sharp would hardly play for us next season.
Agree with the other poster it would take something special for him to accept a transfer away from SU.
Really pleased for him that he’s creating history at the club he supports, so when he’s finished he’ll always have good links with SU.
