Not sure how true this is but the same bloke who knew Laws was going to Wednesday a week before he did. Has told Radio Humberside that we've had a 1.2mill bid plus Wade Small accepted. Apparently Adkins rates Small highly. Probably sh*t but its from a supposed very reliable source.

If we had stayed up I would have said good luck to Billy wherever he went. But now we are down I think he would do a bloody good job for us, and you can bet your mortgage he would rather play for us than Wendy.
 
yep agree with sv wouldnt of done a job in prem yet but championship i think he will bang them in

Please don't think I'm pissed because it's my birthday, or that I've been killed and the evil robot shorehamview is typing this, but I actually agree with a Sharpy post. I know that's normally rarer than rocking horse shit, but I believe Neil has taken us as far as he can, and that Billy Sharp would certainly score for us in the fizzypopship. More than Warnock would, anyway.:D

And tbh, unsure about him myself. Ok, he can bang them in at league 1, but could he do it at championship.

Well, if we did get him, i would be very happy, just have to prove him self, and i think 1.5 mill, is the majority of our kitty
 
he would be a risk, if nobody else wants to come in for him, i think leaving him a year or even just until january would be wise to see how he goes.

But the Owls face tough competition to sign the 21-year-old who last week held talks with Norwich after the Canaries had an initial £2m bid accepted.

if by those bastards u mean wednesday,im pretty confident he wont his family are big blades fans and he has said he wants to play for us again.
 
Means nothing though RB, if no offer from us is forthcoming, I'm sure he would rather live in Sheff than say Norwich. So maybe Wed's have that advantage.
 
I wouldnt go wedenesday! Id rather go to norwich and live away from sheffield.

Edit: we are aprantley intrested,which would delay his desicion more
 

apparently we also have an edge in that our bid would negate the 25% sell on clause that is in his contract. Therefore we could bid less than norwich and still get him, scunny wouldnt have to pay us any money.
