Billy Sharp: How lucky we are

Absolute legend and with all the charity work and everything else that he does, the bloke is an absolute credit to the game.

I love him.

Billy’s good, but he’s no Keith Edwards. 171 goals in 293 games, at a time when defenders could tackle in different gravy.
I get that. Keith Edwards will remain, forever, one of my favourite players.. Picking a fantasy-type United team, covering my era. My shoe-ins up front have been Deano and Edwards for ages ... Billy's coming up on the rails though, to nudge Keith out (Deano's not up for debate)..I hope it happens...Theyre all quality..UTB

You can only judge players, objectively, in their own time-zones. The standard of football Billy Sharp competes in is undoubtedly higher that the standard Keith Edwards played in. The influx of foreign stars has raised the bar several notches since Keith Edwards plied his trade. Both strikers have earned their places in the Blades Hall of Fame; both will be remembered as among the best this club has ever had.
