If I were him I'd do everything in my power to score in a "Here's what you could have had" fashion.

As it happens, if he doesn't pick up an "injury" before the match, I think he'll bag at least one which leads to another question.

Will he celebrate if he does score. The Scunny fan at work says he gives them some right stick when he scores against them now. Not the same as scoring against us I appreciate.

Yeah he celebrates like mad when he scores against Scunny.

I think it all depends on how we are with him at the start of the match.

I don't think the fat useless fuck will get a sniff.....

Just my opinion. ;)

Looking at the Derby Donny highlights on BBC Billy looked like he had a good all round game, holding the ball up well, intelligent passing and a shot. Interestingly though this was all outside of the box. Still believe that he is a excellent all round striker who if a yard quicker would be in the premiership.

Whatever happens I think Blades fans will applaud him. Whether you rated him for us or not (personally I always thought he had something to give and the way Speed likes to play he would've done ok for us) I think all Blades appreciated the effort he put in.

I thought his attitude could've been better when he was with us, as he seemed to spit the dummy, but I could understand his frsutrations.

Good luck to him on Sat, but I hope we stuff em and he scores

He had an axe to grind with Blackwell not the club.If he had his way, like all Blades, he would rather be scoring for us than against us.

Applaued him before and after the game , but Boo him every time he kicks the Ball during the game . But the danger is Booing could fire him up .

This comes from someone with Billy as his avatar ;)

True, however he also had an axe to grind with Robson didn't he? Not sure if he had one with NW as well, but I'm sure he'll say he didn't get a chance under NW.

My problem with any Blade claiming to have a problem with the manager is that he then ultimately has a problem with the team when he sulks and chucks the teddy out the pram

What was he like at footy in the playground though Latters?!

If I were him I'd want to score but unless he gets a lot of stick from our 38 fans at the game I doubt he'll go over board. I got the impression his beef was with KB. He's still a Blades fan.

Bit of a cocky shit, as you would be if you were better than all the other kids I suppose (I know I would!)

Made sure he never got past me in the inter-house tournament though, not necessarily fairly!

I can't see him getting any stick from our fans and I can't see him celebrating. Besides, he'll have nothing to celebrate, his goal will only be a consolation as we'll tank them!

Latters, that is a fine post. :)

Like Eduardo we'll clap the fecker when we're five up. UTB!

Hopefully the Blades fans will give him a good reception. I suspect booing him will be counterproductive. I wouldn't expect him to celebrate wildly when he scores the inevitable goal on saturday, a bit of dignity would be in his best interest.

"Billy scores the 5th goal at the Council House as United blitz Rovers 4-1" I can see it now

No need to boo him at all, but I'm not exactly going to miss his one goal every six games either. Worst poacher ever.

Totally agree Guesty. He offers nowt to what we've got at moment IMO. I'll applaud the lad as he's a Blade but i fully expect us to win so wouldn't be bothered if he got a consolation.
UTB

He celebrated enthusiastically when he scored against his ex club Scunthorpe and I can see him doing the same if he scores against us. Why shouldn't he? Doncaster Rovers are his club now.

If anyone thinks KB had anything to do with him being sold for the second time by this club, they are simply deluding themselves. Billy was sold twice by the club and we never made the money back on his potential.

If he scores tomorrow, we only have ourselves to blame. If he Celebrates then good on him, it means he's moved on from the club he's supported all his life and moved to a much better place.

Someone said, Form is Temporary but Class is Permanent. Our club has sold him twice, if he scores and celebrates, that his message to them saying, you're going down and I'm helping. Don't come crying to me!

I don't blame KB, I blame our gutless Board! They are doing exactly the same thing as they always do. And we're gloating about the Wendy's Stagnent incompetent Boardroom. We're as bad as eachother.

The same board that bet £2m Billy would fire us back to the prem? Then paid his wages for 2 years?

Surely a different one...

>he's bound to score.. ..i reckon he'll do a 'non' celebration thing as well
and.. even had a t shirt made for the occaision.. heh.. likes his vimto does billy (clue is in the location)

i happen to know the inside story on the billy sharp saga as he is local to me (very) and it doesn't make good reading for the reputation of the club.. that is all i will say.

You know what, I'm glad he scored, and also glad he portrayed that message to our section, there were(are) plenty of Blades who loved to get at him when he wasn't doing too well, and now look where we are. Having an ex "fat useless twat" scoring against a fucking abysmal display who don't look like hitting a barn door, let alone the net. Good on him.
